Haha...gotcha......I was assuming that your post was making less sense than the initial one...

    My apologies...

However, to claim that TWO people get by on $30/year is even MORE ridiculous.....

You and your "Live-in girl friend" can survive on $2500/month?......Do you live in your car?  Do you have a car?
    I would think that a guy who has $150K Gambling Bankroll would live in a sweet pad......with a mortgage...and a bedroom.....with a bed in it........and utility bills......and a refrigerator........with food in it........

my rent is 550 a month, 500 on food. NO car payment, have 2000 infinity I30 that i own outright. Insurance is 52 a month. Electric, call it 75 on average a month. Cable is 120. Cell phone is 45, i have straight talk. Water, Sewage, trash all included in apartment. 100 a month in gas for my car. Thats 1440, We have state health insurance because technically im unemployed and so is she. So another 300-400 a month in entertainment/miscallenously is1800. So actually we get by on less then 30k a year. I wonder where the rest goes. I do not own a house, i screwed up my credit years ago. If I could I would, not having a job with proveable income makes that difficult. I dont pay taxes so dont forget. 30k goes alot further.

SO, you make between 65-85k a year, and you rely on the tax-payer to pay for your state health-insurance? You got some balls....

Hey Humblepie, do you know what taxes are on Gambling Winnings. 45% as of last year. Not to mention, its still technically illegal to online sportsgamble. I take advantage of the same programs as alot of americans. Because I cant afford the taxes, I cant better my credit. Thus I have a hard time if I want a new car. No chance of financing any property or anything else. Im a democrat and believe in paying taxes and I believe in a progressive tax system, but I would be paying more percentage wise  then someone who makes 16 million a year. Thats the uber tax bracket. Is that fair? make gambling earnings fair for taxes and Ill pay them. By the way I dont work for a company so I obviously dont have access to insurance that way and if you think im paying a private company a ridiculous amount your outta your mind. who would do that unless the had too?

Let me get this straight...you gamble online which is still technically illegal, so you are not paying taxes of 45% of illicit gains. You said you make on average 65-85k a year. Your bills are 22k a year. That leaves you with at least 40k+ to pay for your own health insurance of which you choose to stick it to the state, the tax payer, to foot your health care....Maybe I'm the fool after all...

I have never met a guy who got rich from gambling. I know a few who lost everything including their families because of gambling. I know a few rich guys who gamble for pleasure because they can afford to lose some money and not break a sweat. I am not rich but I keep my bets in check where losing and winning doesnt change my life style.

I did not say I couldn't afford private insurance.. I said who would pay for that unless they had to. If I would be in a fair tax bracket I would gladly pay. You dont think I wanna be able to own things. Have credit. Have social security worth anything. Lets use your theory ok. Lets say I make 70k this year. I file taxes, pay 30k in taxes. Now ive only made 40k. Still not bad. But now I make too much too qualify for state insurance so Im force to buy a private policy, like cobra. So now im looking at what another 2k a year in insurance. So now im at 38k. Yea thats fair. When any other single person making 70k would pay a max 15k a year in taxes plus they would get a tax return. I would not get a tax return, because your are not able to get a return back from gambling earnings. So id pay double of someone who makes the same as me and on top of that he gets 8-10k back and I get 0. Hmmmm, yea if you were in my shoes, im sure you would do what you thing I should do. Im full of shit, lol.. About what? This place was soo much better when there was only a handful of people.

Who said anything about taxes? Just pay for your own friggin health insurance like most people with a little fucking pride would do if they did indeed make 65k a year. While you may be a degenerate, you are definitely a leech...

If your paying close to a 1000 a month for your families health insurance, i feel for you.. I really do. My sister has 3 kids, husband has been outta work for 7 months and they are in the same position. But how could you be so against Obama and universal Healthcare bill. You dont have to take the Government insurance, but at least give the big insurance companies something to compete against so they have to lower premiums. They are price gauging which is illegal, but its not proveable or proscecuteable because there is nothing to challenge them and make them lower the price of insurance.

I live in AZ humblepie. I have STATE COVERED HEALTH INSURANCE. Paid for by the state. I am not an illegal before you go that route. It is not a federal program. You do not pay into it at all. You said this is why the country is fucked up. Arizona state governed insurance has nothing to do with this country, it does however have to do with this state. So if thats what you mean, ok. Lets say I lose 70k this year, then do I deserve state covered insurance? If insurance was reasonable Id pay for it, I swear i would. I pay for dental because that isnt covered under state medical and thats outta control. Our insurance companies need an overhaul and so do our state and federal programs. But the programs are there for citizens to use. Im a citizen, i have every right to use them as you or anyone else. I was born here, im white as day. So dont play the Arizona race card.
