Playoff Time (Conf Finals)

 

Orlando needed this wake up call... Boston has been tuning up with the Cavs while Orlando was tuning up with garbage teams... so i think Orlando will play much better in game 2, and realize they need to bring it up another level...

i think Orlando wins, but i wouldn't necessarily say they are a good bet to cover...

the series last year (other than game 7) was mostly games that went down to the wire... so i think any team getting 6 or 7 in this series is a good bet...

got boston ml and the under for the game.  i have a futures bet on both orlando and los angeles to win the nba championship.  not yet too late to place a bet on boston so i might be doin that but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Took me long enough but I finally jumped on the Celtics train. Swallowed my pride and realized I was dead wrong on Cleveland and took Boston -1.5 in Game 6 and also had a piece today. You had this team pegged all along.

Orlando has had a pretty dominate home record the last few years off a home loss but I see they are tempting many with a +7.5 in Game 2 which just seems like a few too many points to be giving to this Celtics team. They've got everything you want in a championship type team and these teams shouldn't be catching 7.5 even in horrible spots. I'm not typically one for knee jerk reactions but Boston is going to win this series, just too much for Orlando to overcome. This looks eerily similar to last years ECF where Cleveland cruised down the finish in the regular season (30-5 was it?) and then went 8-0 in the 1st 2 rounds only to be overvalued and taken out by the better team in the ECF. Substitute the word Orlando for Cleveland and that's what you have this year.

going with my gut on these ones, and hopefully taking advantage of some injuries and rust with the under... also, i want to grab Boston to win the title, and will lose value if Phoenix wins... perfect scenario will be a close loss by Phoenix...

the ML play is a small hedge... if it loses, i will be betting Boston to win the series at a better price before game 3...

i changed the channel after that stretch in the 3rd quarter when the Suns cut it to 4 or 5 points, only to get 3 quick fouls and a tech on Grant, and then the lead was suddenly 17 again...

was just a bad pick and a bad performance by the Suns... gotta learn something with every game in the playoffs...

My buddy and I bet regularly and he asked me to give him the over 187.5 and I said OK unless he gave me Boston +7.5 and we agreed.  I thought for sure we would push   This was payback for the over he hit against me in game 3 of the phx/sas.

people are absolutely refusing to bet on the Celtics, and they are just destroying the books for anyone who backs them...

might take the day off... leaning towards Pho and Under, but those plays were awful last time, and wouldn't be shocked to see the same result as last time...

good points... the overs in this series aren't just about the Suns, the Lakers are doing their part, too... i agree they are improving... but i also would say that their tendency toward high scoring games is not (based on recent history) an indication of championship caliber basketball...

Tunda... i think you are going to lose that $100... at this point the only thing i am still considering is an under play... but i don't feel strongly about it... best bet is that i will be watching this one without action...
