Boy oh boy we got hammered last night, our worst night of the playoffs thus far.
game 0-2 ATS, lost 6.6 units
1st half 0-2 ATS, lost 3.35 units
totals 0-2, lost 4.4 units
I would not read alot into last night, Raps were in a bad spot and Rockets made many 3's which they can do every now and again but are prone to very poor shooting on 3's as well, but if they are going to make them they can look like world beaters because they take sooo many of them.
50...3's VS 37 2 pt shots. That's crazy talk.
LBJ and his Cavs looked very good for the 1st time in playoffs , but it came in a bad spot for Raps, we need to keep things like this in proper perspective.
Game 2 will be a much better indicator, we'll see if Raps have what it takes to bounce back.

MY LINES.....................................
Celtic's -4.97 over Wiz
Warriors -10.81 over Jazz
We did Wiz to get to +6 to have a play on Wiz. At 5.5 now.
Warriors a largest mismatch team and off a game 1 ATS loss in previous series, a great spot to back powerhouse teams like the Warriors.
However, not a good spot for Warriors off 3 ATS wins with 2 blowout big wins.
We may pass on the game, will look into some things later and will post any plays 15 or 30 minutes or so before game time.
Should be home before start of 1st game and post any plays.

You're seriously still placing under bets on this game, claw?I don't see any regression happening tonight, but rather more points pouring in after I read on this site all day that these two teams couldn't and wouldn't shoot like they did on Sunday. And then I didn't bet over 217.5. Boy am I kicking myself.

Wiz game was very, very aggravating and just plain sickening......
we had both in game total and 2cd half total won and the Wiz on the game won, all we needed was no OT, of all the frigg'in things we needed just do not go to OT, just sickening ...........................
C's could do no wrong, everything they touched turned to gold, Thomas was amazing, he makes that shot in OT when fouled, lost control of the ball , then regains control in mid-air and throws up the shot on the way down and of course it goes in, why expect anything less.
C's look like a team possessed , yea we talked about that earlier before the series, this team was given a special mission and nobody wants to let Thomas down,they have ssoooo much energy, and the will to not be denied, are now off an incredible 6 ATS wins, wonder how often that happens ?
Now with all that said, a game like that is generally going to be a team's peak, they can not possibly do any better, when you see these peak games after big runs, time to fade the C's once again game 3.
If C's win again, not sure what to think about them, I just do not see how they can keep this up, the Wiz played very strong themselves and seemed pretty deterrnined, but just could not match what Thomas and the C's brought to the game.
I did not see before the game that it was Thomas's sister's birthday yesterday.

ML --- 0-2 --- lost 2 units
totals --- 1-5 --- lost 9.05
Had we not went to OT we'd of been in very good shape, losing less then 1 unit on the Wiz game, .6 to be exact. And losing only .2 on the Jazz game.
Instead we get hammered with a very bad night....................

Raps 1st half +4.5 (-105) --- 1.05 units
Spurs -5.5 over Rockets --- 4.4 units
Spurs 1st half -3 --- 2.2 units
Raps in a better spot tonight as are the Spurs off ATS losses.
Tonight may be a better indication of what Cavs can do, they rolled the Raps all 3 home games last year, winning by 19 pts or more and in game 1 winning by 11 this year.
If Raps have any heart at all tonight would be the time to show it.

Both our largest mismatch teams lost ATS, they need a bounce back here, we did go against Warriors for the 2cd time and are 1-1.
Can not see Spurs not coming out with very high energy and effort, can not go down 0-2 and hope to win series.

I completely agree. Very surprised. I posted this in another thread asking when the C's would hit a "wall:
They have been on a rollercoaster ride for two weeks now. Imagine the psychic/emotional energy they have had to expend to get to this point.
1) Their best player's sister dies. (emotionally taxing to say the least)
2) They have to crawl out of a 0-2 hole after losing the first two games at home.
3) They manage to win 4 straight games (covering all four).
4) IT has to leave for a funeral the day after game 6, meaning the team had to go all out to get that game.
5) IT returns from the funeral a few hours before the game and the Celtics have to come back from a 17 point deficit in a game they could have easily laid down in after the two weeks they have had--and no one would have blamed them.
6) And they win the game against the Wiz after almost blowing their own dd lead to cover for a 5th straight game (more emotional energy spent).
This is one of the most emotionally taxing stretches I've seen a playoff team go through. The Celtics have had numerous chances to lay down or take a game off but they have refused to. The team has become more resilient than ever and the whole is truly greater than the sum of its parts. It would not surprise me to see them defeat a more talented Wizards team but I very much doubt they will go past that. Still, that does not answer our question. When will the Celtics hit a wall? Game 2, game 3 or game 4. I don't know, but I know it is coming. And when it comes, expect them to get blown out soundly!
Now we can add the IT's sister's birthday game to the list and the comeback from dd down to win in OT. I have to believe the Wiz win the next game, unless some higher power is at work here!
