    I agree mylife23.

Jordan, Pippen, Rodman, Horace Grant, even Harper.....those guys were defenders.

They would of found a way to defeat the Rockets.

The bulls beat all comers and all "all star" led teams
    Enter Magic Johnson....defeated
    Enter Clyde Drexler......defeated
    Enter Gary Payton/Kemp....defeated
    Enter Charles Barkley.....defeated
    Enter Stockton to Mailman Malone....defeated

and along the way.....defeated Ewing and reggie miller

Pippen and MJ...perimeter defense minimize the dream opportuities and team defense probably was enough to knock off the rockets

MJ is the GOAT for a reason....and that means he is better than olajuwon and yes, the bulls were better as a TEAM than the rockets and clearly the bulls had the better coach

As far as LBJ being better than MJ

NO....that is not the case.....but MJ really needs to take a chill pill.

To me, his disrecpectful comments from time to time is very revealing that he probably feels what I have been saying along.

MJ is the goat but LBJ's trajectory and current course could get him to the mountaintop to stare eye to eye with MJ who is the goat.

First.......LBJ has four MVPs....I feel he will win at least six MVPs

Second....LBJ is 2-2 in the NBA Finals....he may end up 6-3 or 7-2 meaning...he may have 5 more final appearances in him........maybe four in a row....maybe a three peat....but more opportunities for sure....him not going undefeated will be offset by his other accomplishments

Third......he will be the only player in nba history with a TRIPLE QUINTUPLE (which is get over 10,000 career pts, 10,000 career assists, and 10,000 career rebounds)....no other player in nba history has over 10,000 career stats in more than 2 categories

Fourth.....If LBJ has his typical efficiency season...it will be a historical one.....he is already 2nd on the all time list behind MJ...and will eventually pass MJ as the most efficient player in NBA history

    Fifth.....27 game winning streak...

Sixth.....he will pass MJ in every statistical career category (and pass kobe as well in every statistical category

I can go on and on and on

LBJ is on a different trajectory....it is not simply ring counting....his resume at the end...if he keeps this pace will be PAUL BUNYUN like

But ct u leave out the part where if jordan didnt retire he would most likely b 8-0 in finals. And oh yea the most important thing of all. Jordan failed numerous times but stuck it out and got to the mountain top the hard way. While lebron failed numerous times and then decided he had to make all star team to win and went the easy route toward getting to the mountain top. I dont remember jordan failing then saying fukk it im gona team up with 3rd best player in league and top 15 player in league. If u dont think thats gona go against lebrons legacy ur nuts. And as far as career numbers jordan went to college and retired in prime so is it really surpassing him if it takes more yrs to do it?? To me the stupid stats like lebron was youngest to 20k pts. Ya big deal but jordan did it in 90 fewer games. Or wen people say wen jordan was 28 he only had two rings the same as lebron at 28. Ya but one was in league for 7 yrs the other 10. So stats like thst are very misleading. Also jordan thrived in finals and lbj plays his worst ball in finals compared to his career numbers. Even this year he shot 56% for season yet in 4 of 7 finals games he shot less than 43%. He went a whole finals series averaging 2 pts in 4th quarter. Yes he also had some great games in finals but also had some of the worst games of his career. Lebron is a beast no doubt but will never ever surpass mj. And i know its not the case but he SHOULD be 1-3 in finals if not for biggest collapse in finals history

Ur an idiot lebron is nowhere near MJ. Today's players play no defense. The game hasnt been the same ever since they took the handcheck away. The 3 point line is closer. Today's game lack rivalries. Players are more spoil n lazy cuz of the money. Yesterdays players played with heart n passion. Jordan was an absolute winner. Mj had 6 rings. How you compare him to Mj who averges 31. Ppg. Great defensive player all Nba so many time. Your an idiot for think Lebron is better. Lebron is surrounded himself with good players to start wit early in hes career. This makes the game easier for him. It took MJ 7 yrs to win hes first. Before hes 7 yrs he didnt have that many good players on hes team.until he had pippen, rodman, kukoc , kerr, horace grant. Your a moron. I bet your only in your early 20s that never saw MJ played in hes prime.

You guys are forgetting the most important point : HAND-CHECK RULE

    https://bleacherreport.com/articles/833257-michael-jordan-could-he-really-score-50-with-the-hand-check-rules-in-place

and also there was no such thing as a flagrant foul... Jordan and others got Hammered and it was just 2 shots .

All that being said, LBJ is still a close second but he has time to take over the number 1 spot. Time will tell...

At that age up have be crafty and rely on skills n smarts to be able play the game while all athleticism  and speed goes out the door even at 38 he dropped 53 just shows how smart and skilled of a basketball player he was he knew to exploit the game.

Even when he was on the garbage end of his career he would be a starter on any team on the damn league he was just that great.

The only game that counted??? It was the only game that was left!! He's lucky ray ray is clutch! Which he is not!! Bosh knows it too that's why he passed the ball to ray ray instead of LBJ.
James is KING but Jordan is an ACE

This kid must be 15 years old if he think LBJ has anything on MJ.  MJ captivated the country.  LBJ hasnt captivated anything, even HIS shoes have Jordan on them.  Non-basketball fans turned into Jordan fans and watched his every game.  We used to record jordan games on VCR so we could watch them the next day to make sure we didnt miss anything.  Jordan was also DEFENSIVE player of the year multiple times.  No offense to LBJ, but cmon, even Kobe has more clout then LBJ.  LBJ didn't do squat until they loaded up a team for him. Please I've wasted enough time here, get back to your 11th grade history class.

And had he showed up in any other 4th quarter they wouldn't have needed him to pull one out of his @ss.   Plus the strategy of that game by the Spurs was to just let him have open looks since he couldn't make them for the prior 6 games.
