These arguments suck as it makes MJ look bad. That just is not the case. He was the second greatest player ever.

In a one on one , who would you take?
If you had just one opening on your team, who would you take?

The league has changes since then, yes, dramatically. People are more physical, they are taller, they are faster, they have better genetics. So standing out in a crowd where everyone are physical genuiuses is REALLY hard. But who does it? LeKing James does it! He looks like hes from another planet when hes playing, because he is so insanely good. Back then when they played without any physique it was easy to look good, and also when Jordan played he got so many free hoops where people didnt even bother about him, today LeBron is often double teamed / triple teamed to shut him down and he STILL manages to come up with a shot or some kind of insane pass. The man is on the moon.

LBJ shot over 60% in game 2 of the 2014 finals for the first time in 24 NBA Final games, going 14 of 22 from the field.

MJ shot over 60% in his 2cd NBA Final game going an insane 15 of 18 for 83.3%

It took LBJ 24 games to do what MJ did in 2 games.

I go with MJ being the goat as of now but the bulls going 55-27 when he decided to play baseball hurts the argument a bit. The Cavs went from winning 60+ games to being the worst team with 19 wins. What other player on the planet is worth 40+ wins? Not Kobe not Jordan maybe Wilt back in the day

The "league" makes Lebron look good..he's really an uneducated semi decent player but bows to the interest of the "league" which in turn creates bogus calls to ensure the greatness..he's not good..he just does what he's told and presto..championships

LBJ is off to his best start in this series shooting the ball. For just the 2cd time LBJ has shot 50% or better in back-to-back NBA Final games.

It took him 5 series and 24 games to do it a 2cd time.

It took MJ 1 series and 5 games to do it a 2cd time.

LBJ has never shot 55% or better in back-to-back NBA Final games. But he has a chance to do just that in game 3 as well as shot 50% or better in 3 consecutive games for the 1st time., an interesting subplot to tonight's game.

Let's take a look at the other great players performances on the biggest stage.................................

Bird - 75%, 72.7% the only player I could find shooting over 70% in back to back games.

MJ- 58.3%, 83.3%, in just his 1st .. 2 NBA finals games. the only player to shoot 55% and over 80%. in back to back games.

Magic - 71.4%,  66.7%, 66.7%,  the only player to shoot 65% or better 3 consecutive games, LBJ has never shot 65% in a finals game in 5 series and 24 games.

    Isaih - 75%, 55%, 65%  Isaih shot 55% or better in 6 of 16 NBA Finals games 37.5%. LBJ shot 55% or better in 4 of 24 games 16.7%.

And remember, Isaih was roughly about a 10% worse shooter than LBJ in the regular season but Isaih could still perform on a high level on the biggest stage.

    Hakeem - 70%, 57.1%

    Kareem  - 58.3%, 58.8%

    The Big Daddy - 67.1%, 61.1%, 62.5%...................and 60.9%, 63.2%, 60%, Shaq shot 60% or better   3 consecutive games twice in 3 years.

Shaq never shot below 50% in his 3 titles with LA. He shot 60% or better in 11 of 20 NBA Final games.

Shag scored his regular season ave or better  in 17 of 20 games, 85%.

Shaq scored 5 pts over his ave in 16 of 20 games, 80%.

Kobe - 60%, 60.9%, the only time Kobe shot  50% or better in back to back NBA FINAL games with LA

Kobe shot 39% or worse in 9 of 18 NBA Final games with LA, 50% of his games were horrendous shooting games.

Kobe took 20 shot atts or better in 11 of 20 games.

Kobe scored his ave in 8 of 18 games, 44.4%. compare to Shag's 85%

Kobe scored 5 pts over his ave in 3 of 18 games, 16.7%. compare to Shag's 80%.

We'll see if LBJ can move into the twilight zone with these other NBA Greats with another big perrformance tonigfht..............................
