Dallas Mavericks vs. Detroit Pistons UNDER 189

Mavericks should win this game with Dirk back in there.  And they'll have to do it on defense...unlike their last game.

That's TWO games where they put up 120 in the 2nd half after scoring 70 in the first half.

Boston Celtics -1 1st Quarter

Always a high energy night at the TD Garden.  Kevin Garnett will be back in the lineup, and should energize the team that much more.  Revenge game for the Celtics here as well.  They are reasonably rested, while the Magic have had to play more in the past week.  C's get up early, then the Magic come back a little.

Prediction:  Celtics 25  Magic 19

Los Angeles Lakers -1.5 1st Quarter

They just lost to the Clippers.  You think they are just a little bit pissed off coming into this one?  The Thunder gave them a decent battle in the playoffs...but when it comes down to it...this is the type of game the defending champions NEED to win.  They NEED to silence the doubters.  They NEED to win the first quarter.

Orlando Magic vs. Boston Celtics UNDER 95.5 2nd Half

I know that the 2nd halves have gone crazy so far today...but now that the shock and awe of KG being back in the lineup is over, the Celtics can focus on what they do best....defense.  If it was for crazy 3-point shooting this game would be right on pace.  That won't keep up IMO.
