This is a simple bet Lakers will win this game by any means necessary! No need to look at statistics for this one. Kobe got paid big (3 year extension) time today, theyve been playing terrible ball on the road. They own UTH at LA. Kobe will not let them lose. If the lead starts to slip away a timeout will be called by Phil. UTAH will not be able to maintain any sort of run in this game.

Haha. You must not get to watch the Lakers often. Phil is certainly more inclined to just sit there looking dumbfounded. He seems to enjoy letting them suffer & battle through it on their own.

my analysis: with as many posts as this game has brought, obviously the house [all of us] are in disagreement. my wisdom [two cents' worth] is to stay away and let's all enjoy this game. there are probably other games w can win with.

I hear u, but the fact is it's still hard to actually place this wager on the Jazz at such a short line. This line is definately inviting serious action on the Lakers, not the Jazz, and that's exactly what their getting. You can't really believe that there's serious money coming in on Utah. I'll agree that they certainly play games with the movement of lines, and though they've made this one look fishy, even the "smart" money is going to have a hard time getting on board with this Jazz play.

i agree, that's why i am not going anywhere near this game....no idea what will happen...but if you look at it, the line is right about where it should be....lakers have been playing like crap, jazz have been the opposite....lakers are giving 4 points for home court, and one more point because they have a slightly better record.....history does not get factored into lines as much as people think, philly had beaten the bucks a ridiculous amount of times but yet the bucks were a 10 point favorite(due to the bucks great recent play while philly had been playing awful)...philly beat them again
