The Knicks are an anomaly, like the current streak of overs in the playoffs,.Statistical probability is never absolute but probably the right way to bet. Other factors like how the line is set regarding gamblers perception also seems to play a part. When they conflict like they seem to have here, I just avoid the game.Couldn't go against you here , the situation you listed was too strong.

They absolutely are an anomaly when you consider they literally aren’t even losing a first half on the road on top of winning every game covering in a blowout. The 2017 warriors started 15-0 playoffs routinely lost the first half outright while sweeping teams (that’s how nba games go) and lost 6 games ats in the playoffs. The Knicks are on a 9-1 ats run and 10-0 SU. 5 road game 1h+FG cover streak completely unheard of
Its 100% an all time anomaly unless they win the finals in dominating fashion

I personally don't see that. I think when this streak ends for the Knicks, it may end in spectacular fashion. So far they've had the perfect storm in their opposition. Far stronger teams in the west and clearly the Thunder and Spurs are elite and at a different level. It will be in no way the easy run the have had so far

Brutal , just brutal.
Knicks are just crazy good right now. That cannot do anything wrong.
I broke down Knicks 3 opps on their way to the finals.
Average PR I is 1.28, which is one of if not the weakest group of opp the champion has played.
I don't have teams that made finals but lost in the finals.
9th ranked Cavs, 12th ranked Hawks and 16th ranked 76ers.
We can make a case 76ers better with Embiid and Hawks better after young trade and maybe Cavs better with Harden but he hasn't been very good .
Possible opps could be somewhat better but that still does not explain how or why this team is operating on such an extremely high level.
I'll run my Playoff PR once we get to finals or as soon as Knicks wrap up the series.
The 2001 Lakers were the highest rated, they lost 1 game in playoffs.
I think maybe 1 team could of passed them but not sure. I look it up once we get there to finals.
It could of been LBJ with Cavs in 2016 when they beat the 73 win Warriors is what I think I remember but not really 100% on that.
I know I talked about this season having a good number of strong rebounding teams which was very unusual but up to now shooting efficiency has won out as usual.
But the Knicks were either the best rebounding team or 2cd best of a very strong group of rebounding teams and I did talk about if this could be something meaningful .
Knicks are also a good shooting efficiency team but just shy of being championship calibre.
It is possible that being so strong in rebounding and just shy of championship calibre shooting efficiency that maybe that strong rebounding pushes them over the hump to championship calibre.
The one thing I have discovered is, the stronger rebounding team the lower shooting efficiency can be up to a point. Too low I doubt will ever be good.
And it works vice-versa, the stronger shooting efficiency team the weaker rebounding can be up to a point. To weak in rebounding I doubt will ever be good either.
But where you set those limits is not etched in stone.
The Rockets were no. 1 in rebounding but shooting efficiency was extremely weak.
So Knicks were 2cd best rebounding but almost championship calibre in shooting efficiency.
I thought the Knicks were pretty balanced between the 2 and did plan to talk about them as a possible surprise although i would not have taken any action on them I just thought they were pretty balanced and a very strong rebounding team and they have had success winning series in past couple of seasons unlike the Pistons who were also balanced between shooting efficiency and rebounding but have not won a single series with their key group of players as i talked about these teams not making the finals.
But there is no way to predict the Knicks doing what they are doing, not any way I could do it anyways.
I can't say I am overly surprised they could win the East but I am shocked how the are winning the East.
It's not believable.

My Lines ...........
Spurs -1.3 over OKC....... full season
SPURS - 3.97 ....... ave full season & after break
Spurs off 2 SU & ATS losses and trailing in the series and off a home loss and favored by over 1 pt difference with my line and actual line if we use the ave which I think is closer to accurate.
And with OKC missing AJ and likely J Williams their 2cd leading scorer and 2cd best player an Wemby likely to play better overall.....
Play is on the Spurs
Spurs -2.5 over OKC --- 1.1 units

The finals are currently shaping up to be NY-OKC. Per Jeff Sagarin, right now OKC would be -2.24 at a neutral site. Against his current Top 10, OKC is 23-10 and NY is just 16-12.
