There are plenty of examples that go both ways historically. Because of the zig zag regression pattern it favors Cavs but id much prefer they lost by 30 gm1

From what I have seen not really. I would suggest its like 60% or better especially between 2 relatively even teams. I would say 60% or better

    My Lines ............

    Knicks -6.38 over Cavs

Not surprise to see the Knicks win game 1 but very surprised to see how they did it.

The Knicks are playing as good or better then any team but are due regression and I think they may be having a strong moment thus far in playoffs that is not likely sustained.

Knicks off 3 ATS wins with a 30 pt big blowout win and then a win and cover.

And they scored a playoff best 144 in that 30 pt win.

Not sustainable, Knicks go into playoff regression the play has to be on the Knicks.

Now, they could regress this game 2 or the next game, game 3. But is coming soon .

I'll play Cavs here then come much larger next game if they don't cover.

Had OKC not covered I'd parlayed Cavs and Cavs ML with OKC game 3.

What made that the perfect spot was had Cavs not covered in could of re-made the same parlays with OKC game 3 and Cavs game 3.

But the OKC cover takes me off that parlay.

    Cavs +6 (-120) over Knicks --- 1.2 units

I passed on the first game, never did talk about it, was busy, I had to run.

Remember Cavs off a 7 game series so maybe the collapse was Cavs wore-out.

I saw they were up by 14 towards end of 3rd quarter. I didn't  see how far behind the Knicks were , but a 14 pt lead is not overly exceptional to overcome in the 4th quarter

Good luck with CLV.  I have support for both sides.

I did notice that the Covers consensus is currently CLV at 52%.  The public handicappers that appeared on the much-missed ESPN Bet Live were frequently leery about public dogs.

OTOH I do like to "Fade the Zombie GroupThink"; i.e fade the widespread belief that CLV can't bounce back from such a demoralizing defeat, especially when Atkinson seems like he doesn't know WTF he is doing.  "I like to save those timeouts.  Maybe they can earn interest."

I hope the bit about ESPN bet pundits was a joke lmao. Don’t ever bring that up as if serious analysis unless using as a reason to bet against it lol

I ask AI if down 22 with 8 minutes left was a great comeback.

Said other teams were 1win of 595 such occasions.

They went on a 44-11 run in final 7:52 and regulation.

    1-0, won 1.5 units

OKC did what I thought they should do, put a big on Wemby. Wemby took just 10 shots in the paint VS 21 in game 1 according to what I saw online.

I doubt OKC will get away with manhandling him though in SA the way they did.

Wemby needs to bulk up some, he gets pushed around pretty easily from what I saw on videos of Twolves series.

It is easy to shoot over the small players but VS bigger players who can get physical it's another story.

SGA delivered with 30 pts on 50% shooting.

Wemby had 22 on 50% shooting

He had 27 in regulation  of game 1 with 17 rebounds and 17 in game 2.

    0-1, lost 1.2 units

Conference finals--- 1-2, lost .25 units

    My Lines .............

Spurs -1.3 over OKC ........full season

Spurs -3.97 over OKC ......... ave

Once again we see the book giving a number of Spurs over full season.

I think Spurs are better then that myself.

Here with series tied 1-1 we don't use my line but we back the team that is clearly better and should win the series.

Based on full season that'd  be OKC.

But both these teams have the common denominators of past champs and I think Spurs are better then the full season ratings so I'll  have to pass.

Another angle is of the 8 teams outshot opps by 5% or better .....7 of those 8 teams led the series after the 3rd game.

This points to OKC but I doubt those other teams played an opp as good as the Spurs.

I do think OKC will get 1 game in SA though , not sure which game.

The other issue is the injuries, Jalen could be out but so are Spurs Harper and maybe Fox is back but AJay is hurting a bit for OKC.

To many things to be unsure of , I'll  wait it out till next game then decide.

I just looked this up, the only 5% to not lead after 3 games, 2016 Warriors played OKC who finished 3rd in PR I, Warriors no. 1.

PR II OKC 2cd with Warriors 3rd, OKC was better then the 5% team.

We have the same situation with the Spurs being better in PR II then the 5% team.

    Interesting, for sure.........

Both opps were much stronger rebounding teams then the 5% teams. PR II rebs carry more weight.

OKC got it done. Gets home court back.

Wemby did get his pts bit was held off the boards after getting 17 rebs in game regulation and 17 in game 2 he only had 4 rebs with 3 assist and 2 TO.

    He shot a decent % at 53.3%.

But for a good big man posting up inside he should be able to shoot higher %'s.

Maybe he is tired, as rebs is a hustle stat. All players like scoring but the hustle stats show desire and work ethic.

His PER dropped 2 pts after that game, erasing almost everything he gained from that big game 1 and very nice game 2 with all those rebs.

I would expect Spurs to bounce back game 4 and likely win so we'll  see how Wemby responds.

It’s 9-0 SU run and 8-1 ATS for the Knicks. An all time playoff run.

Cavs today are the best play of the playoffs
