@theclaw Are you going to be on Cavs for major Knicks regression? My concern is a historic collapse from Cavs but otherwise Cavs would be the play. If they show fight maybe a live play
Collapse is a good thing for that team next game. Cavs win or at least keep it close.
My opinion Cavs by 8

There are plenty of examples that go both ways historically. Because of the zig zag regression pattern it favors Cavs but id much prefer they lost by 30 gm1

From what I have seen not really. I would suggest its like 60% or better especially between 2 relatively even teams. I would say 60% or better

Yep. Pistons collapsed game 5, I saw it was largest deficit with 3 minutes remaing ever overcome in the playoffs.............
Pistons won by 21 next game, their 2cd largest win in the playoffs with the largest being 22.

Not surprise to see the Knicks win game 1 but very surprised to see how they did it.
The Knicks are playing as good or better then any team but are due regression and I think they may be having a strong moment thus far in playoffs that is not likely sustained.
Knicks off 3 ATS wins with a 30 pt big blowout win and then a win and cover.
And they scored a playoff best 144 in that 30 pt win.
Not sustainable, Knicks go into playoff regression the play has to be on the Knicks.
Now, they could regress this game 2 or the next game, game 3. But is coming soon .
I'll play Cavs here then come much larger next game if they don't cover.
Had OKC not covered I'd parlayed Cavs and Cavs ML with OKC game 3.
What made that the perfect spot was had Cavs not covered in could of re-made the same parlays with OKC game 3 and Cavs game 3.
But the OKC cover takes me off that parlay.

My Lines ............

I passed on the first game, never did talk about it, was busy, I had to run.
Remember Cavs off a 7 game series so maybe the collapse was Cavs wore-out.
I saw they were up by 14 towards end of 3rd quarter. I didn't see how far behind the Knicks were , but a 14 pt lead is not overly exceptional to overcome in the 4th quarter

Good luck with CLV. I have support for both sides.
I did notice that the Covers consensus is currently CLV at 52%. The public handicappers that appeared on the much-missed ESPN Bet Live were frequently leery about public dogs.
OTOH I do like to "Fade the Zombie GroupThink"; i.e fade the widespread belief that CLV can't bounce back from such a demoralizing defeat, especially when Atkinson seems like he doesn't know WTF he is doing. "I like to save those timeouts. Maybe they can earn interest."

I hope the bit about ESPN bet pundits was a joke lmao. Don’t ever bring that up as if serious analysis unless using as a reason to bet against it lol

They can comeback and win a game. I think it is hard to give away games though and still win the series.............
