David Stern Said Fine Coming to San Antonio

If the Spurs don't keep this game competitive, the fine is gonna be pretty hefty and Popovich will be in a big trouble.

The Heat will be rusty with all that rest. Wouldn't be surprised if they are losing after 1, and probably tied by half.

The Heat are already undersized, and are missing Battier at the Power Forward. WIthout Battier, Lebron will have to play bigger and get worn out more.

The Spurs are also a deadly 3 point shooting team. They have size with Splitter who will be grabbing offensive rebounds all night.

You think these young guys can't run with the Heat? You'll find out tonight.

"I apologize to all NBA fans," he said. "This was an unacceptable decision by the San Antonio Spurs and substantial sanctions will be forthcoming.''

Whatever Stern you moron.  I got the Heat ML early this morning, before this decision was made.  I'm loving it.  I hope Popo makes this decision any time I bet against San Antonio.

I actually don't see that happening. I've followed the heat for much of this season. I know that they can play down to their competition for most of the game, but they can erase deficits quickly in the 4th quarter.

If it's close with like 4-5 to go in the third the Heat will turn it on. Hopefully they win by 10.

Vegas will be royally pissed off that the Heat -5.5 still covered, but stuff like this doesn't happen very often. Comes with the territory.

stern has done some pretty low things in the past 30 years, but releasing that statement is damn near at the top of that list IMO.  who gives a shlt.  Pop is one of the best coaches of all time and it's his decision, especially when he's dealing with aging superstars and risking injuries with this scheduling...  lmfao if spurs pull it out.

You'd be surprised man. If the Heat were to cover the 12, they'd probably put their bench in. When the bench comes in all they do is jack up 3s because they have no chemistry on the floor.

maybe the nba shouldn't schedule 4 games in 5 nights on the road and then a divison rival right when u get back home , you don't see the nfl do anything when teams clinch a playoff spot and have nothing to play for so i don't see why a nba coach who is the longest tenured in league with a bunch of nba titles shouldn't be able to do whatever the heck he wants too
