How the heck did the Dodgers get skubal for that package? Last year they wanted schlitter lombard jr and rice from the yankees.
I know its for 2 months of skubal but you cant tell me they couldnt do better then the 25th top prospect a guy who hasnt pitched in mlb since 24 and a prospect who wont be here at least for 3 years

It was not about money. Any team could have done this trade. He is a free agent after this year. They are basically renting him for the playoff run with this trade is my understanding.

KAY AND Jax are both under 4-1 in their last 5 starts.
Both are in the bottom 3 in hard hit rate since the
all star break. Going under 7.5 here.

Gavin Williams is 4-0-1 under 8 his last 5 starts and has
struck out 11+ in his last 4 starts. He has allowed 2 runs
or less and 3 hits or less while going 7 innings in 3 of 4
starts. kelly has allowed 2 earned runs or less in 5 straight
starts and 1 earned runs or less in 3 of 5 starts. He has
pitched better on the road this year. Both these lineups
don't have much experience with each pitcher. Going under

Baseball has become a different sport these days. The White Sox have been a great story so gifting them outs via errors will clearly only lead to runs. Upside is it wasn’t the pitchers ineptness
