Serious question — I got absolutely smoked on the Fish yesterday. Before I even think about going back to them today, does anybody actually give them a fighting chance?

The weakling Marlins worked hard to get that deficit down to one run only to have Sandy Alcantara immediately give up hits to the 7 and 8 batters who soon came around to score.

Sandy Alcantara’s ERA at home is now 7.03 over his last four starts.

They let him pitch one more inning and now that ERA is 7.17 over his last four home starts.

And he’s supposed to be their “ace.”

I'm talking about the Spencer Strider from 2022/2023. It's been a long hard road of injuries for him. Tommy John's included. He started this year on the shelf with an oblique strain.

If he can keep himself upright and healthy, he is a damn good pitcher.

People easily forget what people were. They're the same person most of the time just going through hard times.

Its looking like 3 earned runs in his last 17.1 innings pitched.
