6-0 yesterday, as things went exactly as they were supposed to. Why can't it happen more often???
Cardinals/Blue Jays Under 8.5 -115
As a Cards fan, I'm excited to see Quinn Matthews pitch. The Jays are the worst team in baseball vs lefties, and no one has ever seen him before, so we have all that going for us. Paired with the Cardinals inept offense, and Gausmans ability to keep the ball in the yard, and I don't see how either offense really gets anything going. The pen of the Cardinals is always a concern, especially now that the deadline is looming, but the Jays have shown they don't pack a lot of punch, so I'll take my chances.

Hicks will be a total wild card today, but he's been a starter before, and that's gotta count for something. The Rays have a few bats missing from their line up, Aranda being the most notable, and the Sox are playing to win the series today, with their only change being at catcher. The Sox offense is more trustworthy for me right now, despite Rasmussen being pretty darn good his last two starts. He had some hiccups before that. It's a good number to take a chance on.

If they played this game three weeks ago, Philly would be a 2:1 favorite. This price is super cheap. No Sanchez isn't having the same success as he saw in the first half, but he's still well above average, minus the KC debacle. Baz has been pretty good himself, but his team doesn't score when he pitches. They are 1-4 in his last five starts, and his ERA is under 3.00 in that time frame.
Houston Astros +110
They are the hottest team on the planet right now, so to get them at plus money vs anyone seems like a gift. DeGrom has been great, but certainly not untouchable. The Stros bats are the difference, cause I don't know where the Ranger offense is coming from on a nightly basis.

The rays pitching staff was absolutely magnificent to barely win that game. They had no business winning it but what a performance from the pitchers. As good as Ras was he got incredibly lucky top of the 5th with 3 hard hit lineouts with a man on first to lead off. The fact that Sox got no runs there was pretty remarkable. Rays offense is non existent right now
