Hell, no. I love the Nationals w/Lannan as small favorites over Florida. People are going to think I'm dead wrong on this, but I think the true line should be Washington -150. Luckily, we get to bet them about 25 cents cheaper than that thanks to millions who still refer to the Nats as "the worst team in baseball."
The more I think about this, the more I'm inclined to say NO! If you start releasing your knowledge to the general public, you (MrBator) will no longer have the edge against the books. Sportsbooks will also buy said book and will therefore alter their lines...Hence, keep it as it is...
I'll get back to you on that after I pore through a couple seasons' worth of Nationals' scores later on tonight. I'm almost sure I'll be laying the runline, though. The funny thing is, there's going to be bettors who'll see Florida +115 and think they're stealing money by taking the Marlins as an underdog against the "worst team in baseball" Nats. Little do they realize that the Marlins should be an even bigger underdog in this situation!
Unfortunately, being more visible around here doesn't really work for me. I seem to inspire emotions from people in both directions, extreme loyalty and boiling hatred. When I pick a few winners, I'm deluged with people wanting to know who I like, and that's a problem because of the many last minute decisions I make based on lines available, line movement, or whatever else. And of course, when I pick the occasional loser (ahem), things can get ugly when too many diapers get soiled at once. But I'll continue to speak about the games I really like, and those selections aren't hard to figure out if you just read a few threads.
