 And one more little tidbit. Trout hasn't faced one actual HOF pitcher. Frank thomas, Tony gwynn, Ken Griffey Jr, faced Hof pitchers every week. And the great pictures, 3 of them, that trout has faced. He has sucked against all of them. But I know, I know, MLB stats are wrong when it's reporting trout has 10 K's in 16 at bats against Scherzer. Or he is 5 - 43, .116 batting average against Verlander. If he faced The Big unit, the rocket, pedro, Mario rivera, Trevor Hoffman, Kevin brown, mussina, cone, Billy Wagner, schilling to name a few, trout would strike out 500 times a year.

Ken Griffey Jr, and Tony Gynn are better baseball player than Mike Trout.

But i saw them play with my own eyes, so i can say that.

I never saw Babe Ruth play, but i can say he is the greatest ever, bu comparing his stats to the stats of players in his generation, then translating them to today.

Few would argue he is not the greatest all-time.

and you have yet to acknowledge Aaron Judge strikes out ALOT more than he hits.

So does Ohtani.

 Yes, you are correct!?!?! No player has ever uprooted their family and got traded to pursue a championship. Not one athlete has ever done that??? Of course I'm being sarcastic.

Individual baseball players as hitters can't win title the way QBs and star NBA players can. No player no matter how good has a huge impact on winning. 4 bats a game and maybe some defensive play isn't gonna win a title.

Mike Trout is loyal. Maybe he loves the area he lives presently, has great friends, a fav bar, who knows. He wants to make the Angles better. he had 425Million reasons to stay as well. That should be admired.

I would rather a Mike Trout than a Kevin Durant any day.

 Let's look at Mike trout's last 7 at bats. 5Ks, w, f-0. And it should have been 6 K's in the last 7 at bats. His last at bat tonight in Texas, he clearly went around for strike 3. The catcher even popped up and was about to throw the ball around the horn for a strikeout. But the umpire didn't call it. Next pitch, a weak fly out to shallow right field. Batting average, a whopping .186. and people thinks this guy is great. Once again, he's the most overrated player to ever don a uniform. And I say this, because people think he's great, AND HE'S NOT! HE'S GOOD, NOT GREAT. THAT'S MY ISSUE WITH THE MEDIA, FANS AND THIS DUDE. You can have him on your team, I hope you enjoy last place and watching him strike out.

For the season, 11 hits, 16 k's, and a whopping .186 average.  but people thinks he's great

All baseball players now a days are not as good as the 80’s/90’s/2000’s baseball players.

 Right now, career .298 hitter, it's dropping fast. When his career ends, it will be 280 and he will be the all-time strikeout leader. Once again, my problem with trout is. People think he's the best baseball player to ever lace'em up. And he's not!!!!! He's nowhere close to being the greatest baseball player of all time. He's not a winner, he doesn't care about winning, he's injured all the time, he strikes out all the time, he hits meaningless home runs in the middle of July against Oakland. He's good, not great like the media and some fans thinks he is. This season will be 5 seasons in a row that he will have more k's than hits. Frank Thomas Manny Machado, to name a few are laughing their asses off.

 Exactly. But for some unknown reason people think trout is the greatest baseball player of all time. And that's ridiculous. He's nowhere near the greatest baseball player of all time. You can't be the greatest baseball player of all time and have more k's than hits. And he won't come close to having 3K hits. When his career ends his average will be around 280, 2100 hits, 2200 k's, 0 world series titles, 0 playoff wins. That's not even Hall of Fame numbers. Again, the media and some fans thinks he's great, and he's not. That's my beef.

And Trout just STRUCK OUT again!! This dude sucks. His last 8 at bats, 6 ks. That's it, I'm done. I'm deleting this thread. I made my point

Not a Trout fan but the guy has been.pretty good over his career..

For the record, in the top of the first, trout just struck out again. That's 7 k's in 9 at bats. Dude sucks

With a Man on third base, he strikes out, again. The next hitter knocked in the Angels run, trout sucks
