Longtime Lurker…Back Yet Again

Hey everyone. Long time lurker. Long time player. Getting back to posting at the recommendation of some friends. Posted a couple of weeks ago and went 2-0. Will be posting regularly, hopefully daily. Best of luck to all. 

NRFI Guardians/Tigers

Analysis:

The Cleveland Guardians are on the road tonight against the Detroit Tigers. Foster Griffin throwing for the road team against Framber Valdez for el Tigres. Griffin is an absolute stud when it comes to NRFI, going 19-4 this year. Valdez has success of his own this year in the NRFI category at a 15-7 mark. The Guardians on the road are 37-24 on the NRFI stat line while the Tigers are 36-22 at home for NRFI. I expect us to get past the opening frame scoreless as this Tigers lineup struggles against lefties (NRFI hitting at a 71% clip when the Tigers take the opening frame against a lefty) and the Guardians lineup has some difficulty facing righties (NRFI hitting at a 74% clip when the Guardians take the opening frame against a lefty).

Mariners/Yankees

Analysis:

The Seattle Mariners play game 2 of their series with the New York Yankees in the Bronx tonight. Both the Yankees and the Mariners are an absolute offensive mess as of late as both are averaging only 3.6 runs per game over their last 30 days. The Mariners are losers of 5 in a row, but if there is any bright spot for them, they are throwing Bryce Miller tonight who has the lowest ERA of any started on the team at 3.08 and a very impressive WHIP of .95. The Yankees are bringing out Will Warren who boasts an 8-4 record with an ERA of 4.18 and a WHIP of 1.37. while the Yankees seem revitalized since calling up the phenom George Lombard. We are hoping that Miller’s far worse road numbers (4.02 ERA and 1.14 WHIP) continue tonight, Miller’s career numbers vs the Yankees (0-2 with a 7.5 ERA…hey some people just can’t handle the bright lights), & the Yankees momentum (4-2 since the call up) will put us in the win column in a game the Yankees would love to win while the Sox are in a mini slump since scorching the Earth.
