Hey everyone. Long time lurker. Long time player. Getting back to posting at the recommendation of some friends. 

NRFI Blue Jays/Cardinals

Analysis:

The Blue Jays are running on a 7 game streak of NRFI, and the Cardinals are on their own 6 game streak of NRFI. The starters today are Quinn Matthews for the Cardinals and Kevin Gausman for the Blue Jays. Quinn is making is first MLB start but has shown some great numbers in the minors this year with a 3.3 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP. He comes into this game with 3 straight starts in MiLB with NRFI and is 63% lifetime for NRFI. Gausman on the other hand is auditioning today for his next team. This will be his final start for the Blue Jays before being dealt in the next 48 hours and he desperately wants out of Toronto and onto a contender. Almost identical to Quinn, Gausman has little to 0 experience against anyone on this current Cardinals roster. He has a lifetime exact matching 63% NRFI, and I expect his best stuff today.

TB Rays 1st 5 Innings RL -.5

Analysis:

Tampa Bay is throwing their best pitcher Drew Rasmussen while the South Side are going with a bullpen by committee approach today, leading off with Jordan Hicks. Rasmussen has a 9-5 first 5 innings record and an overall 2.88 home ERA in full games this season. For the other side, in 2025, Jordan Hicks started the 1st inning on 4 separate occasions. 3/4 of those games he allowed a run in the first inning. Schultz is supposed to take over after Hicks and is 1-3 in his last 5 starts. The Rays in the first 5 run line are 32-18 in their last 50 games. We like the home time with the run line here.
