LONDON Phillips / mets OVER 10

Mets and Phillies face off today in London they are trying to sell the game in England and brought it here in 2019 with the Yankees playing the Red Sox. There was no way they wanted a boring game  so the pitchers Chucked everything straight down Broadway the first innings took 53 minutes and was  6-6 The game finished 17-13 Giving the organisers exactly what they wanted they played the following day which was Sunday and the game finished 12 -8 50 runs in  2 days No They were scheduled to bring a game here every year, but because of Covid it never returned until last year where the Cubs played the Cardinals not so high scoring but still 9-1 and 7-5 Scores could’ve been a lot higher with both teams leaving bases loaded and players Stranded in several innings

Today we have the Mets and the Phillies and I fully expect a lot of runs certainly more than 10. I’m surprised the line is so low.

Nobody in this country Knows anything about baseball they never show it on TV. People don’t actually know how it works and NFL is quite big here but not baseball so there’s no way they want the British public to sit through a boring pitching battle THEY WANT HITS EVERY INNINGS And that’s what they will get

In the last hour price has gone from even money to 20/23 it won’t be long until the line moves to10.5 

It never ceases to amaze we how people in this forum know what organizations(MLB NFL NBA NHL) want      

They wouldn’t bring the game to another country if they didn’t want people around the world to watch the Sport and enjoy it. It’s called growing the game.

And like everything it’s about making more money, people who have never seen it before will only want to see it again if it is Exciting

The excitement in baseball comes when the ball is in play apart from that to People who don’t understand the nuances of the game it is a boring pile of shit watching someone swinging and missing if that drags on for seven innings everyone will go home they want to see hits and that’s what they will get

I realise I’m probably upsetting people who think I’m bringing the integrity of baseball into question but this is Sport and it’s about making money and I believe games in London are contrived To create a lot of hits, this is just my opinion sorry for any offence

 Hey Smartass , the OP is assuming what would be logical in this case. If people don't know or barely know the sport , you would think the people want to see something exciting , right? And for a boring sport like baseball, it would be more exciting, for people who don't know anything about the sport , if there were a lot of runs scores  instead of a boring 2-1 game. Again, nothing is guaranteed to be a high scoring game but lots of runs would make more sense. So , you think the OP is stupid to make that remark ??? I think he makes a lot of sense.
