Orioles/Nationals Over 9.5 -104
I'm 10-2 on the year when backing a Nats Over, so I'll swing again here. Baz has been bad. Littell has been worse. We already know that the Nats bats can score in bunches, and the O's should have zero issues getting involved vs Littell. It's the perfect night for baseball in DC.
Reds/Guardians Under 8 -108
Tanner Bibee has been great for the Guardians this year, but whenever he pitches, the offense takes a day off. They've scored 7 total runs in his last 5 starts. All of them losses. He's only given up 8 runs over that same span. Cincy bats appear to have awoken again, but they also just got to play 6 straight in their joke of a ballpark, so I'm not reading alot into it. Abbott has been great, and CLE hasn't shown the ability to consistently score runs.
Tampa Bay Rays -1.5 +176
This is crazy talk. The Marlins bats have significantly fell off outside of their top three of Edwards, Hicks and Lopez. Everyone else is an out right now. Seymour hasn't pitched yet this year, so that is an area of concern, but their offense should be able to carry the weight vs Junk. He's only started on the road twice this year, and both games have been ok, but his offense was better at that time.
New York Yankees -1.5 +126
The Mets are the worst team in baseball right now, and that is after winning three straight against the spiraling Tigers. The Yanks offense hasn't really been very productive outside of Rice and Judge as of late, but they are getting Volpe back, and that is a boost at the SS position. Schlittler is the AL Cy Young winner as of right now, and I have all the confindence that he can shut down a Mets offense that is missing four starters from their opening day line up.
St. Louis Cardinals -110
Wacha returns home, but being away from Kaufmann is a problem for the Royals. They are winners of just 6 games away from home, out of 21 tries. They just got swept in Chicago by the White Sox and things don't get easier in STL. May has been excellent, and the Royals bats are still struggling. The Cards are full of young guys, and they are trying to prove they belong, and so far, it's working.
