If you’re following along at home, Arizona Diamondbacks 1st 5 -0.5 is my major position tonight. That’s where the real work went.

If the first five plays out the way I expect, I also took a shot with Arizona -1.5 at plus money. I know laying the run line with a home team isn’t exactly Wiseguy 101, but if Arizona gets Lowder early and we get into that Cincinnati bullpen, I think there’s a real chance they separate.

The first five is my major position. I need fucking oxygen. But make no mistake about it, sweeping both tonight is exactly what I need.

The script

Soroka gets through Elly, Stewart and Bleday clean. That is the meat we identified. I would love 12 to 15 pitches, no walk, no hard contact, and preferably a couple chases on the slurve.

Bottom 1 I do not necessarily need Arizona to score immediately, yes we do but ..What I really want is them making Lowder work. 18 to 25 pitches, traffic, hard contact, deep counts. If they scratch across a run, even better.
