TCU: Brian Howard

A&M: Stephen Kolek

Howard has been a beast for the Frogs down the stretch. In 14 IP in the Regionals & Supers, he allowed just three runs. Kolek comes in having not seen action since the Regionals, but he was superb in leading them in the decisive game against Houston. He went 8+ and allowed one earned run. Aggies need the big start since they chose to use Brigham Hill out of the pen in Game 1 and he threw nearly 60 pitches. He can probably go again, but I think their strategy of using their #1 like that backfired big when their Game 1 starter got lit up early. In any case, going unders.

These starters have been good, but going with the trend on these lower set totals going over so far. This could easily be a 2-1 type game, but we will see. 

Ah well, a bummer. 

Under 9.5 my 1st choice. 

TCU decided between Traver or Lodolo. Popular thinking seems to be Lodolo to try and offset Louisville's best lefties, but Singer for Florida showed if you've got good stuff you can shut them down. Traver has electric stuff when he is in rhythm. 

Be interesting to see where they go. I personally prefer the experience of Traver, 

Got what has become pretty typical with the total at 9.5. TCU +130 and Louisville -155. 

Still thinking mostly about the under in this one. 

I still only like the under. Biggest thing is avoiding the big inning early. That seems to be the formula for these getting busted up when trying unders.

No opinion on the side, just rooting for my Frogs to pull it off and stay alive another day!

That HR by McKay was a monster bomb.

I like the over 8. Both have given up runs lately & both offenses remain potent. Believe the winds tiday are going to be gusty & again a rarity in blowing out.
