Well with what I've heard from other people...Hughes and Joba won't be able to handle the pressure of the postseason because they're so young...so apparently, if thats true...Buchholz won't be a problem. ![]()

The way Buchholz has been pitching...maybe your better off getting Halladay. I mean...you'll have 1 year to test him out. If the Yankees can't hit him, they'll outbid the Sox for him when he's a free agent. And take Adrian...and keep V-Mart...we'll be happy to pick up Mauer and Aroldis Chapman over the next 2 seasons for free, while you give up the farm system to get those players. Imagine if the Yankees get Chapman and he is as good as advertised. 100 mph lefty? Another lefty in the rotation? Interesting though...would that mean either Philthy Hughes or Joba becomes the future closer? Oh boy...I can't wait.

Do you really think the Sox knew what they were doing when they gave up Hanley. If they knew what he was I'm sure they wouldn't give him up. But what about the Sox possibly going after Reyes too? Their farm would be DEAD if they go after too many players. Sure...if they have players that will be there for a while, it's all fine, but I don't think they'll get rid of the farm system for everyone. I just can't see it happening. But like I said...the Yanks will certainly be in the running for Mauer(and probably leading candidate). Sure by then Lowell will be long gone, Youk would play 3rd, V-Mart will be at 1st and they'd go after Mauer but the Yanks would probably overbid after losing Posada. I think they have too many catchers in their farm system as it is...they should trade one and get something for him.

Kazmir starting Game 1? No way...he'll be starting in Game 3 while Lackey and Weaver fight over 1 and 2. Especially since Weaver is reeeeeeeeeeeally good at home.

So you want Youkilis, Victor Martinez, Adrian Gonzalez AND Prince Fielder fighting for 1st and 3rd? And there is no chance in hell you will get King Felix. he is as untouchable as Lincecum. He won't go anywhere until he's a free agent. Halladay may be a possibility but not without giving up Buchholz and he's found himself and he's been really good...I don't think Epstein will let him go.

His future position is not catcher though. I don't know where it will be, but it's been said from pleanty of people that he won't be the Yankees' future "catcher". Which doesn't leave much for him but DH. He's a big guy so outfield is not for him and first base is filled up for Tex for the long haul.
