The Yankees are the best team in baseball during this regular season overall...that all goes down the drain in October. We'll see just what happens come playoff time...and I certainly can't wait to see what happens. It's gonna be great.

Go HALOS!! Our bullpen is shaky but we got the bats and the SP to take on anyone. We just have to get through Boston.

PAZ-MAN No debate here brother, im from boston but im not an idiot this red sox team is no were near the team the yankees is. HAVE U BEEN WATCHING THEESE GAMES THE OUTCOMES HAVE BEEN ALL LOPSIDED SINCE THE YANKEES HAVE HAD THERE FULL SQUAD.the red sox should be happy if they get thru LA . i think thats a much better debate if they can beat the LAA, then if they can beat the yankees. As far as matusaka who da hell has he face to make you think hes back on track, NOW HOW IN THE WORLD CAN I BET HIM TOMMORWO NO WAY IN HELL THE YANKEES CRUSH OUT ANOTHER WIN TOMMOROW.

Don't forget Boston has gotten hot at the right time heading into the playoffs winning 12 of their last 16!

PAZ-MAN vs shitty teams, KC ROYALS, ORIOLES, JAYS,. COME ON BRO THIS RED SOX this TEAM ISNT THAT GOOD, in all hoensty if texas woulda been healthy i dont think red sox will be in the playoffs.

We will see if Dice-K is back tomorrow! If he pitches a solid game against the Yankees tomorrow, he is back! Don't forget this guy was 18-3 last year with a 2.90 ERA!

Yankees are hot too. Winning 2 of 3 against the Angels IN LA is a HUGE confidence booster. And if they take the series against Boston, they'll be even more confident PLUS will have crushed a little bit of Boston's confidence. They have 2 more against the Sox then face the Royals(No Greinke in that matchup) and the Rays(who the Yanks just own). They are already in cruise control and still beat the Sox tonight. This really is their Pennant to lose.

Even if Texas was healthy Boston is in! I can't believe you are saying Boston isn't that good. They have the 2nd best record in baseball coming into today and yet they aren't that good. Now you are sounding just plain dumb!

The Yankees have been great this year no doubt! I just see Boston turning it up another notch in the postseason and beating the Yankees. Hey, i could be wrong and if i am i will be the first to congratulate you. Just don't forget to give me props if Boston beats the Yankees.

not true the lad second best record with the angles 1gb form red sox.yea the red sox are good mopping up on bad teams, but what they do vs  a healthy texas team NOTHING, A HEALTHY YANKEE TEAM NOTHING, lost the series vs LAA..and versus the same tampa rays team from last yr NOTHING. so yea they are a good team. i just been spoiled the last few yrs seeing ELITE RED SOX TEAMS PLAYIN IN BOSTON.

I enjoy this discussion. I honestly think that THIS Yankee team can beat anybody. I mean...they were pitiful against the Sox to start the team...once A-Rod came back...they went on a roll. Think about it...the Yankees were 13-15(.464 winning %) without A-Rod. Since his return...they were 86-41(.677). On the night A-Rod returned...Tex was hitting .192. You know what happened since. And another interesting stat is that since Cashman showed up in Atlanta and the Yankees were being no-hit by Kawakami for 3 innings and Joba knocked him out of the game(yes...I have a distinct memory), the Yankees were 61-24(.718) since that date. They are 3-1 against the Angels since being swept in LA earlier in the season. They are 5-5 against the Angels this season(which is really good for how they play against them year in and year out). The Yankees are 7-1 against the Yanks since starting off 0-8(which is since they were healthy). Simply put...the Yankees are the best team in baseball and if they keep this loosey goosey attitude during the postseason as they have all seaon, they will have themselves Championship #27.

They are 9-7 vs. the Yankees this year, healthy or not. Red sox were not at full strength either in some games. Red Sox started Brad Penny twice vs. the Yankees, John Smoltz & Justin Masterson once and Junichi Tawaza once! Those scrubs are gone!

I'll be crying if the Yankees don't make it to the World Series. It would literally be that heart breaking. I'm sick of them losing and after a year off...it's all or nothing. They HAVE TO WIN this season. If they don't win...I don't know what they will do.

The way Buchholz has been pitching...maybe your better off getting Halladay. I mean...you'll have 1 year to test him out. If the Yankees can't hit him, they'll outbid the Sox for him when he's a free agent. And take Adrian...and keep V-Mart...we'll be happy to pick up Mauer and Aroldis Chapman over the next 2 seasons for free, while you give up the farm system to get those players. Imagine if the Yankees get Chapman and he is as good as advertised. 100 mph lefty? Another lefty in the rotation? Interesting though...would that mean either Philthy Hughes or Joba becomes the future closer? Oh boy...I can't wait.
