CANT WAIT FOR THE ALCS LAA VS NYY SHOULD BE A GOOD ONE

Well, what's my hurry?  So far the line has fallen since Sunday night thanks to bettors getting suckered into taking the Angels +180, +175, etc., so why wouldn't I wait until Friday to make my move?  Actually, I got a little piece of the Yankees at -160 today but just a small piece.

Please cite the plays where you saw me lose when betting on the Yankees.  The last time I lost when betting on them was on September 18th, the night Mariano Rivera blew the save in the bottom of the 9th in Seattle.  In what other games did you see lose when betting on the Yankees?

Don't make me look it up. I just remember it was one of the 2 loses for the Yanks against Halladay towards the end of the season.

Oh, the September 15th game, when Halladay finally won as a road favorite to snap a team losing streak.  Also, there was August 25th, the night the Yankees rallied from 5 runs down in the bottom of the 9th to cut the Texas lead to 10-9 when Joe Girardi ruined everything by ordering Nick Swisher to try and lay down a bunt with disastrous results.

now with me saying you should bet the NY series was using you as a preference to be able to move lines in my favor, a figure of speech. but of course its the smart thing to wait for a better line, unless you are the avg joe... and you sir are def. not

Good thing you remember because I couldn't find where you posted it. It was probably one of those posts u made on the 15th that stayed up until the 22nd or some shit like that. And no need to bring up the Rangers game. That was awful. Swisher should learn how to bunt though.

Dodgers. I think they match up well against the Phillies. After Lee, who are you really scared of? Wolf can go head to head with Hamels and can outpitch him. Kershaw can go head to head with Lee. Big pitcher's duel. Kuroda may be back for the NLCS and I actually think I have faith in Billingsley or Padilla.

You mean if Game 1 gets postponed. Well then who knows how it sets up. Would they take a day off on when Game 3 should be played, then play that when it should be Game 4, take off Game 5, then play a day after. So many things can happen as they have a day off between Games 4 and 5 when they really don't need it. And I'm sure they won't play 3 straight games to start the series when you would play Saturday and Sunday in New York than play Monday at 1:00 local time in LA. It just won't work. And the rotation will be set up like this.

However...rain outs and last second decisions may change things(say so you bring back Kazmir Game 7 with the experience instead of Weaver who isn't as good on the road?). Most likely the rotation setup before you have to get the series bet in wont be how it turns out in the long run.

The way I think this is going is if 1 of the first 2 games gets postponed, then you'll have the makeup game on Sunday. In which case, Monday's game would be cancelled and moved to Tuesday, Tuesday to Wednesday(when there is no game scheduled) and Thursday's game would be played as scheduled. So say Game 2 gets cancelled, Sabathia would be going on 5 days rest and then again on 4 days left. So that would be the ideal situation for him. If his game gets postponed, he'd be going on 3 days rest for both of his next 2 starts. That would be the worst situation for him. If all games go as planned, he'll go on 3 days rest then 4 days rest. So thats the breakdown if it makes any sense.

Oh...I didn't know Kershaw was facing Hamels. I say that game easily goes to the Dodgers and Game 2 might as well. I really like Wolf and think he can matchup with Lee. I also think Manny will give Lee one hell of a time(it's time to break out of his shell). And Wolf would certainly want to bounce back and perform a lot better than his last start. I say they take Games 1 and 2 as a team should do with homefield advantage.

Just like I said. Problem is, I didn't put Burnett into effect. Kinda a big thing I left out. But even if they must use Gaudin, they only need him to go 5 innings. Sure...he's no ace, but he isn't awful. He had good outings and he had bad outings but if they get him threw 5 innings, then they pass it to Aceves, Joba, Hughes and Mo. So your not asking for much. And the Yankees' bats can keep him in the game. We'll all have to see how things turn out.
