And he does a great job with those stats that he finds to defend his arguement. I'll give him that. I'm just surprised it took him 9 days to get a stat to defend his case.

Any arguement with him is meaningless because he won't be wrong until the O's are battling for 4th place in 2012 (when his 2-3 years are over). I just can't wait for that time to come.

That is a joke of a lineup in any division.... in the AL east its like an even bigger joke

Only guy hitting over .270 is Markakis... And don't get me started on the joke of a season he is having as a #3 hitter

Great. Now jpero is going to throw the same stats at you as he did with me that Markakis is a true #2 hitter.

Well...with his power...he should be the #3 or cleanup hitter. However...he can't hit worth shit this season. Him and Roberts are the only ones with track records.

Pero want 2 - 3 years before the Orioles are good....  I'll say this, The Orioles won't make the Playoffs for the next 7 years AT LEAST!!!!

Well he says I never give "stats" and I just make personal attacks... Well when I feel like giving stats I'll shut him up forever

The umps just called the "neighborhood" play on a double play ball hit for the O's when Uribe was about 2 feet off the bag and the ump was looking DIRECTLY at it. He must have known the O's weren't going to make anything of it so he just gave the Giants the DP to get this game over with.

Season #2 kicks in next year. And if they're bad...he still has season #3. He was smart by giving himself 2 years.

He is not a power hitter. he is a doubles hitter who can hit 20 HR. HE will never hit 30 and he might have some years in hte mid to high 20s.

But he will give you a .300 with 40 doubles 100 runs and 100 rbis.

Last year: 7th BA/16 run scored
2008: 11th BA/ 11th run scored (Yankees were 10th)
2007: 12th BA/ 16th run scored

Those are MLB rankings not AL rankings

They have had a middle of hte pack offense. Without Roberts it effects every single player in the lineup. He sees pitches, he gets on base and that makes things easier for everyone after him. This year he is gone it it has had a huge impact on the offense and they will struggle for the rest of hte year becaue they dont have a true leadoff hitter.

Markakis has scored 100 RUNS ONCE in his 5 year career... Anymore statements you need stats for Pero???

He not going to this season because the offense will struggle all year.

But over the last 3 years his averages have been.

99 runs and 100 RBIs and about a .300 average and 20 HR
