And what you did say was that they'll be over .500. They won't even be over .450.

Never said they would be over .500... another one of your lets tell lies so I can make jpero look ike a fool posts.

I believe I said htey had a chance to play .500 and I said they would go 77-85

This was before Brob was lost for most of hte year and Pie was lost for most of the year along with their closer. If I had known an accounted for 1/3 of their starting lineup to go down and be out for 3 months then I would say they were close to 100 loss team again.

Yankees wouldnt win 95 and Orioles would win more than 73 was what I said... That was before the season and before the Orioles lost 1/3 of their starting offense.

I have the thread saved that I gave projected wins. So keep up the lies and when you put out enough string to hang yourself I will link the thread.

A Yankee fan who knows and understands that the teams that won the WS, prior ot last year, was built through the farm system and bring up their own players. They won the WS playing by the same rules the other teams did. Then they strayed away from that and took advantage of the MLB system by starting to spend amounts never seen before and ti created a ripple affect throughout the league that is still seen today.

They have become a team that cna outbid and take/get any player they want. They leave the scraps for hte rest of the league.

A non-typical Yankee fan realizes these things and realizes how the Yankees have a clear-cut, unfair advantage over the rest of the league and every team in the league. They are still fans fo hte Yankees but do not gloat and act entitled because they are a superior franchise due to their spending capabilities.

The problem, not only for the union but for large-market owners, is that some clubs have not cycled out of the bottom of the standings for years. As Red Sox owner John Henry said to the Boston Globe last year, "Over a billion dollars has been paid to seven chronically uncompetitive teams, five of whom have had baseball's highest operating profits. Who, except these teams, can think this is a good idea?"

The Sox market is also larger as those #s dont incorporate New Hampshire, RI, CT or western Mass.
