Cards have been not seeing the ball well for more than a month! They have been scouted well especially away from home! Seeing that they are contact type team offensively it had to figure? 

Yes.  Their offense has been dreadful for the last 7-8 games.

I hope Gausman is their jumpstart to get out of it.

I was going to ask the forum if the CWS might be on the start of a big win streak, winning their last 3.

I'm sure you know that Hicks is opening, and Shultz is the primary. 

Does Rasmussen cool down the Sox hot bats?

 Folks keep saying that CWS are heating up.  I do not see that.  They are doing very good at home but not so much on the road.

I am not sure Rasmussen is the answer.  I think the Rays just have to score a lot today and can do that.

But none of the power ratings or ELO ratings -- or even the rolling ones -- show CWS to be on a hot streak.

But MLB is a long season with a lot of streaks.

I think because they barely won the last two games against NYY folks are over-hyping them.  Because NYY is struggling a bit and folks expect more from them.

But maybe CWS are catching fire a bit. Today will for sure be a sign if they win again.

The White Sox are 9-5 on the road since June 29th after beginning the season 17-25. I expect them to lose today and then win the series tomorrow.

Yep.  5 hits and getting runners on but cannot score them. 
That is what happens when a team is in a downward spiral perhaps.
