I often joke about stuff. I never mean it in a harmful way. But, reminding anyone of tragedy such as death, is a poor lack of awareness on my part.

That's how LC is. 

I had my share of disagreements with him a while back. He is rather harsh on some posters, always argumentative(good or bad). We bonded on his "if it weren't for HR's" thread. That one was epic.

 Yeh I saw a little bit of the different guy then he was in here when I was trying to figure out why he was boxed, he did get in a couple verbal joshing with a few people that he could of had issues with covers, but nothing that would of had him in there for how long but he told me the thread was deleted. When he told me that I tried to tell him to let it go but you know what happened better than me.

The Yankees acquired Taillon from the rebuilding Pirates in a trade the teams announced on Sunday afternoon.

In return, the Pirates received prospects Miguel Yajure, Roansy Contreras, Maikol Escotto and Canaan Smith.

The prospects were all from no. 15 on, in the Yankees farm system. Hmmm with this move it's rather clear we wont see Tanaka, back in a Yankees uniform. This looks like a gamble, Taillon has had 2 TJ surgeries, but since he will make just $2.25 mil this season, the signing will allow NY to keep their payroll below the $210 million luxury tax threshold.

Boston also made some moves signing Enrique Hernandez on a on a two-year, $14 million deal, SP Gareth Richards on a one-year, $10 million deal and and lefty Martín Pérez.

Something for sac: Austin Romine to the Cubs, on a $1.5 mil deal.

 I would have to guess that even with that Covid19 season from last year that baseball is doing just fine since they seem to be signing FA with not much concern on payroll with some teams, others like the Giants have done very little in the FA Market but then SD has been very active, wonder if teams got there credit card from Govt.

 No, my wife has a long standing rule: What's hers is hers, and what's mine is hers. Might not sound fair but it sure clarifies things around here. Living without confusion can be painful but it gets rid of unnecessary anxiety as well. Don't worry about what you ain't got. 

Thanks for the PM updating me on how YOUR Manchester Gum Ball Machines defeated The Yorkshire Pudding Pizzers in Euro Foosball Championship elimination round. I am not a subscriber to world wide foosball websites and magazines so it can be hard to keep up with YOUR teams. Now that they have signed Taillon, do you think YOUR Yankoffs are a lock to win the division, and get to play in October for a change?

 I do not remember when your Cinco De Mayo Friend showed up in the 5 inning thread, I know at some point he had been doing his own baseball threads for 5 inning plays also and he joined us but not sure if he goes back to Mr O threads or if he joined in your threads when you took it over, but BCD and you are the longest running friends on here but we have conversed every year during our time on here,but after he got Married the story was he was on the beach in Hawaii and did not have the time for us anymore.

 I would make a guess that most wives have that money rule, I did get to make the call to get the card to work and set up the pin, but then she took it and gave me a story about it going into our account at some point, last time I saw it and my account shows nothing but my Kids money.

 Just for the sake of an accurate, documented history. It is bd_c (backdoor_cover) to be correct, although your dyslexic mind always says BCD. I guess you just like to keep the letters alphabetically arranged. 

The three of us met on the same day in MrOPC's thread. I only took it over after he thoroughly quit, the site as well as the thread. So, I guess when he contributes bd_c does go back to that first day, and I am not sure whether it was marriage or not that convinced him Cinco de Mayo is a Hawaiian holiday, but either way we don't see a lot of him anymore. I will forever dispute the difference of drinking your Margaritas in Cancun or Waikiki.

 I don't know anything about cards. My wife and I have legitimate IRS, Social Security and bank accounts so ours were direct deposit. I suppose things are different in the underground economy and black market, but I will leave it to you to manage that.

Yo wtf so this is clearly a salary dump, Ottavino is owed $8 million in 2021, plus a $3 million signing bonus which is due in 2022, so maybe NY wants to sign another pitcher?! Deals between the Yankees and Boston are kinda rare, this one makes sense cause Boston wanted to sign him, before Yankees signed him.

 When my Kids were going to College we opened accounts for them for the grant money and B0A started taking a service charge out of there accounts,.I had a couple accounts there and they had my mortgage so I called and did the usual BS threats about moving my accounts, it would of been more trouble than it was worth,lol.

So they gave the service charge back and I closed their accounts and added their names to our checking account so when we got the 1200 they put all 4 direct deposits in the same account,no problem, but this time we got the first 2 600 deposits which I knew were mine and wife's but when they cleared they had my Daughters name, so checked out what was up since they told me they were going to mail a check and the IRS had made a new rule that they would not send more than 3 direct deposits to the same account, so I got a credit card that has both my Wife and mine names which she took.

Now, as for the bd_c thing, how can you get so f--ked up? Your mind works like a blender with a couple cogs missing in the gears. bd_c which is correct, is based on Back Door Cover, and only a twisted mind could move the c in "back" ahead of the D in Door. Twelve freakin' years and you haven't learned a damn thing about anything except Beaver Ball.
