    @LogCottage

     How Ironically LC, Key is really lashing out now,The DonKEY is starting to gain speed it seems.I was expecting him to start counting votes on covers to explain his actions,he already blames everyone else so all we need is for him to take that fancy cellphone he is always talking about to call and berate one or more of us.

    Can not see him going after the Professor as you are his Pence after all.

    I used to golf with a guy whose kids tagged him with the “Professor” nickname. When I asked them why, their response was “because he thinks he knows everything”. bigsmile

    Correct if I'm wrong, but Spring Training is mainly in Arizona and Florida, no? Well both states have horrendous Covid numbers, Florida mainly cause DeSantins doesn't give a flying f#ck about the pandemic and he has left everything mostly open. I think Key has the inside scoop on Arizona, but they are having another spike in cases there. Now all of this wouldn't be that bad, except for the fact that the trump administration has botched the vaccine rollout, there is no national plan, no guidance for the states, there are millions of doses sitting in warehouses waiting on instructions as to where to be sent. I saw old people standing in lines in Florida, during the night, for a chance to get the vaccine and they don't have enough doses. I dunno man, the level of incompetence is astounding, and it seems to be everywhere, my country included, now they have a vaccine but no logistics in place to deliver it successfully. Add to all of that morons refusing to take it, including medical staff, which is just mind-boggling, considering their situation and all that they had to go through, you'd think they would welcome a solution, instead they have fallen victims to unfounded conspiracy theories...

    Also another problem, that more contagious strain, up to 50-70% more contagious, from the UK seems to be popping up everywhere, around the world, while the UK has gone in lockdown yesterday, again, until at least the middle of February.

    @yaongingy

     We have a Moron that is in charge,after the vaccine came out he was jazz for about 30 hours then he realize that it was work so he said the States can take care of it and he went back to Florida to play golf,what past POTUS would of done was get the Military as every State has Reserves Units and the National Guard is in every State also,camps could be set up everywhere and every Medic knows how to give a shot.

    But this is going to be work,and our guy fired everyone that knew what they were doing in his first year,same way he took the US out of every program with our Allies and talked shit about every leader but 2,I bet the Professor knows which 2,Key could ask his Wife,I am sure she knows also.

     Yes sir, here in beautiful MariCovid County it is a balmy 70 degrees and a nice afternoon on the patio; especially since I am scared to go anywhere. Folks coughing and wheezing as they go into businesses and noone telling them to put on a mask. Again, Arizona has jumped to the top of the line in new infections. With our Trumper Dumpster president and Dipshit Ducey in charge I just knew we could make it!

    At least we got rid of McTrumpster Martha McSally so perhaps there is light at the end of the tunnel. Dipshit Doug will face a hard run in two years. HOPE is an important virtue in Christianity and I am holding out plenty of it for the future.

    @JEG53

    You are simply going to have to forgive me if I seem a bit vicious lately. The federal courts have rejected the last of our appeals and L.C. and I are going to have to exit the stage along with you know who. Also, I am suffering a major case of cabin fever; in short, going bonkers, bouncing off the walls. I tried to get the Donald to pick me up for his trip to Mar-a-Lago or Scotland or wherever he is going for golf and insanity, but he roundly rejected me and said it was our candidacy that deflected enough vote to defeat him. He issued some veiled threats and used some language I won't repost, but if you Google the worst fifteen insults and dirty names anyone can be called you will pretty much cover the spectrum. BTW, most of your post today is better, but you still gotta remember comma, space, comma, space. Keep working at it, or use spell check, your case is not yet hopeless.

    At least we got rid of McTrumpster Martha McSally so perhaps there is light at the end of the tunnel. Dipshit Doug will face a hard run in two years. HOPE is an important virtue in Christianity and I am holding out plenty of it for the future.

    @JEG53

     Sorry to hear that, living in a sea of idiocy surely isn't the easiest thing to endure, but judging by the results last night, help is on the way! It may take a while, given the damage the system has endured, nevertheless a sense of competency will take the reigns again, after all this senseless carnage...

     Of course they are, all our News channels have live feed from the Capitol, I also have CNN on my cable...

    This is a disgrace man, these scenes in your country are ones you see in a 3rd world banana republic country...

    I saw a nice tweet about the situation: "If this was BLM there would already be a drone strike."

     It's simple, the people on the far left, and far right are unintelligent people. But somehow these people have a loud voice. They're unreasonable, they're immune to compromise.

    I don't know how people get like this. Seriously, how is this protest achieving anything positive? Weird fuckin times.

    Right on. Trump and company would be giving you a full rundown on how deplorable the left is. Proud Boys, rednecks, skinheads, the KKK and non tax paying wealthy are all exempt from criticism no matter what they do. What really shames me is these half-baked idiots think THEY are the loyal Americans, even as they ignore and disrespect the Constitution and the rule of law. I may start stealing MAGA hats and mounting them on pikes, like the Romans did with the heads of their enemies.

    Go figure. How can sane Republicans not be outraged at the idiot fringe that is destroying their party? Are these really "loyal" members you need in 2022 and 2024? If so, GOD help us.

    @undermysac

     Imo the far right and the far left can only be equated only in one instance: both have cult like approach to what they do. But the far left is woke-ism now, while the far right just stormed the US Capitol Hill, one thing is not like the other. How people end up like this is well studied and understood, that's is not a mystery, and a lack of education plays a major part, in how a person would do something like it was done today, also the brainwashing done by Fox and facebook came to its culmination today.

    I get that your point, about the far left, had to do with the looters form last summer, but imo those were just morally bankrupted individuals who just exploited the situation, I'm sure many of them didn't protest on the street for the racial injustice, just people who like to break stuff and fight the police. Now look what happened earlier, the fair right storms the Capitol and they are escorted nicely out of the building, after wreaking havoc inside for a couple of hours, even stopping and taking selfies with the police inside?! This is insane... In July trump gassed peaceful protesters to have a photo op, the double standard is ridiculous...

    I dunno why they didn't have proper security around the Capitol, they knew for weeks about this, Trump incites them on stage to go to the Capitol and they end up storming it, this is outrageous and for what?! The result of the election can't be changed, the guy is a psychopath:"you are special people, we love you, go home now" who the f#ck in his right mind can put out a video like that?!...

    The "right mind" issue will be under discussion for years to come.

    Just speculating now but I can see Melania January 21st telling Donnie, "I want the New York penthouse, $50 million in cash, and you out of my life. Otherwise I write the tell-all book of the century, and this century is only 19 years old."

     Their strategy is pretty straightforward Key, project and deflect, accuse the other side of what you are doing. Now here is the problem, name anything that the left has done which is closely remote to what hey did today? There is no reference for today's events, the ghouls set a precedent with their actions and a low point in the history of the US. The biggest problem with individuals like this is that they are impervious to reason, because they don't live in reality, thus it's impossible to reason with them. Their "reality" is constructed by conspiracy theories, lies, and falsehoods. If something isn't to their liking there must be a conspiracy behind it. Take the elections, who btw where one of the safest in US history, they keep saying the Dominion machines where hacked and votes were switched. How can you hack a machine that has no modem?! Those machines have no internet connection. In Georgia they did 3 recounts, 3, and the results were the same. Since trump took over they were keeping track of his lies, well since he became president and until the 1st of January 2021 he made over 29.000 false claims or statements, that is pure insanity. The gop are the personification of hypocrisy, the law and order party, while they try to subvert the Constitution...

    The biggest problem with what happened today is that it will have ramifications around the world. The USA, with all its shortcomings and faults, carried itself as the standard for democracy, around the world, the country everyone should aspire to, with its separation of powers and freedoms etc.  Now an event like this will be weaponized by authoritarian regimes around the world, especially China and Russia, who will say to their people: look at those americans, with all their freedoms and look how violent and unstable they are, see that's why is better to live in a country like ours, you don't have to give up too much as a citizen, just your free speech on some other freedoms, but hey there are no riots here, everybody is obedient, because if you aren't we will throw you in jail or straight up kill you.

    As big as a moron trump is, things would have never gotten this bad if the gop hadn't been so quiet and didn't push back, at least from time to time, what happened today is on the gop also, this day is a low point in the modern history of the USA...

    To All,

    Did everyone see the guy with the horns on that broke into the Capital, he is in many pictures in many rooms, turns out he is the leader of some Trump followers from the State of Key, or Arizona as most call it.

    Ok, lets break down the deal a little:

    - Lindor will be a free agent after this season, the rumours about Cleveland trading him go back to last season, so it was just a matter of time and the right deal, until he was traded. He is owed 17,5 mil $ this season, also his number have been down in the last couple of seasons.

    - Carrasco is 33 coming after chronic myeloid leukemia diagnosis in 2019. He is under team control for the next three seasons, with the next two seasons rated at $12 million and a 2023 team option worth $14 million.

    Imo, on paper at least, this looks like a better deal for Cleveland, they shed some money, get some guys with potential, while the Mets get a much needed starter, since Thor is out for the season with TJ, and they improve an already decent hitting line-up.
