BUT... look at his consistency, especially RECENTLY, in consecutive starts:

   July 06.....pitched well at weakass Rockies (Royals lost)

   July 13 ... BAD outing at decent BoSox   (Royals lose)

       ** won't count but allowed 2 hits in 1.0ip in AllStar game (poor!)

   July 21 ... pitched well home vs weakass CWS (Royals won)

   July 27 ... BAD outing home vs mediocre Cubbies (Royals lose)

   Aug 01 ... pitched well vs weakass Tigers (Royals won)

   Aug 06 ... BAD outing vs decent BoSox again (Royals lost)

 

So... he pitched well in 3 - but all weakass teams! (losing one of those)

He face decent teams 3 times and had 3 BAD outings (losing all 3!)

If one is influenced solely by his key stats, this might seem an easy call...but

Facing the decent Twins bats, LUGO got lit up....."bigly!"

In only 4.0 ip before being yanked, he allowed 11 on base and 7 earned runs!an_speechless

When BIBEE starts for them (23 times) they lost 5  but won 18

...and 10 - 2 on his road starts!

Today BIBEE is on the road again, after 2 GOOD road starts!

 

He faces the Brewskies PERALTA....who has pitched poorly in 5 of last 7 (lost 5 games, allowing 9 homers!) including his last two starts which were BAD outings an_getaway
