Close one but a tough beat yesterday.

Washington leads MLB in runs and home runs, while Cade Cavalli has been rolling with six straight quality starts, a 2.75 ERA and 36 Ks over 36 innings. Over the last two months, Cavalli is 6-1 with a 3.20 ERA, compared to Kevin Gausman’s 2-6 record and 5.30 ERA. The Nationals’ bullpen has also improved, posting a 1.98 ERA over the past week. With the Cubs just 38-49 against the run line vs. right-handed starters, Nationals +1.5 for me here. 

Probably the smart play. I took cubs -1 1/2 and not liking it now
