fuck yeah griffin took shots that would knock any other human out but he still came foward like a machine controlled his octagon, mounted quintons ass, choked him in a triangle and smashed his limpy leg. congrats to the new champ.

When the Griffin/Rampage fight was announced the first thing I thought of was Chuck Liddell.  This was a way for Liddell to get his belt back and Griffin was going to win this fight one way or another.  Dana Whites two BOYS are chuckie and Forrest.  The UFC's popularity was at an all-time high when chuckie was champ and after he beats Lewis he will get the FIRST title shot aganist Forrest.
 
Rampage is now a company boy and he played his part perfectly.

I had it the exact same way.Rampage won rounds 1,3 and 4. Forrest won round 2 (10-8) and round 5. Should've been a draw

The fight really wasn't THAT close. Giving it to Page would have been robbery. And for all you armchair judges, unless you're sitting ringside....................

the ones that are saying forrest didnt win are the ones that had money on rampage, even rampage knows he lost.. rampage didnt do nothing this fight.. didnt even get in his slam, even when rampage was on top didnt do much g&p.. forrest had good control from the bottom they basically rested the whole round rampage was on top.. then standing up rampage landed a couple good shots.. forrest was the aggressor , he also was putting on different subs from the bottom the whole time he was on the ground.. that scores points too you know.. anyone that watched the fight and knows what they are talking about knows he won.. shit rampage knows he lost.. he just couldnt wait to get off that knee..... i just love seeing the underdog that nooone gave a shot too win a fight like that.. still got alot of respect for rampage and i know he will be back, and feel sorry for his next opponent..

I didn't have a dime on rampage, but I'll still say anyone who thinks that forrest won a UNANIMOUS decision is out of their fucking mind!

you say that rampage didn't do nothing to win this fight? To beat the champ, you have to show a lot more than what Forrest did as well. In order to win UNANIMOUSLY, that means that he won 3 of 5 rounds, regardless of the 10-8 2nd. There is no way that griffin did enough to win 3 rounds.

Plus GENE, you say that rampage didn't even get in his slam. He tried to slam forrest when forrest had a hold of him from the bottom, rampage went to slam him and forrest had to let go of him to protect himself, so what are you talking about?

Anyways, I liked both fighters, so it wasn't that big a deal that rampage lost, I just don't think forrest did that much to earn a UNANIMOUS  decision.

forrest didn't win this fight, close fight but he didn't bet the champ, i was shocked, i had no money on this fight.

Fixing fights is common in combat fighting sports such as Boxing and MMA---
 
Anyone who thinks it is not fixed? Can you please tell me why the great sport of MMA is not fixed?
 
It is presumed not to be fixed only because no one has busted them yet and no one has leaked that info out yet--
 
When the sport grows, the greed and $$$ takes control, they really couldnt give a shit about a fighter.
 
One poster said it perfect UFC needs LIDDELL to be champ- they did not want RAMPAGE as the Champ because as sad as it is he is not a good Marketing angle, he is a thug and represents a violent uneducated person.
 
UFC is trying to get legalized in many states and the last thing they need is a barbarion with metal Chains around his neck, they need a simple nice guy like Forrest or LIDDELL--
 
Here is what will happen now: Liddell will get the next title shot to get his title back--
 
Rampage will have to fight Wanderlei to earn the next title shot, because Dana knows that Wanderlie owns RAMPAGE. This way Rampage is eliminated from the picture.
 
You can bet that Dana wants Liddell to have a title shot and not vs RAMPAGE--
 
This is no surprise that this fight was fixed-  Dana White is the same as a Vince MCMAHON it is $$$ and he will fix a fight pretty fast--
This is the easiest sport to FIX also--
 
GSP looks like a shadow of his self vs SERRA in fight 1- This is a godamn proffessional fighter for fucks sake, he is the best in the world and he looks 10 pounds lighter and like his family is being held hostage by ZUFFA. He appears nervous as hell, even though every other match he is money in the bank and confident.
 
Rampage is saying he kicked my ass, even though after the bell rings he thought he won, until DANA tells him something and Rampage gets all pissed off, he must have said you will get a rematch-- Little does he know he will be fighting Wanderlei SILVA, its LIDDELL time baby and Rampage is out now--
 
Rampage says oh maybe I underestimated him??? Are you serious, what the fuck were you doing for 9 months? The guy beat SHOGUN a guy that almost killed RAMPAGE- Is this guy serious? After all the upsets the best he comes up with is I understimated this guy?
That is a lame exuse and was basically just saying fuck they fixed the fight I could not win, DANA told me to tank it, this is a business.

if you give the last round to forrest then it woulf have been a tie, after the fourth round, when rampage was still winning the anoucher said that forrest was winning the fight, the other anouncer sounded shocked and it sounded like the guy was trying to sell it that forrest was winning

tim slvia was kickins ass, then got choked out, then sighns a deal to fight fedor for 800,0000!!!! hmmm?

You gotta love the conspirary theories...but sorry...this one is pretty weak.    Let me guess, Griffin against Sho Gun was fixed so they could fix the Rampage fight, right?  Lmao.
