one of the things that will come out of this whole mess is the dismantling of the current rating system...moody's, s&p, and fitch are the only ones out there and if you want your company reviewed, you pay one of those 3 companies to do so

where the fuck was moody's when ABK was at 90 6 months ago...now at 12 or 6 now they put on review for a possible downgrade?

i think we'll learn that the system is VERY corrupt in favor of MCO and S&P and they hold the coprorate debt world by the balls

Glad that I dumped all our mutual funds back in October and went to cash in a money market. Been looking to go back into stocks with dividends with the dividends being reinvested, but I'm too skeered. Think the market is in for a very rough ride until after the election.

Sadly, we probably need a "crash" type day with retail investors dumping everything and throwing in the towel.  Doesn't seem like we've had that.  It's been too damn orderly.

This is 2002 with a higher beta..back in 02 we went down, but not this much every day..severe selling to say the least.

I'm confused Under Armour announced BETTER than expected preliminary results leading into their earnings announcement on the 31st and beats estimates, and then proceeds to get hammered from 43 to 37, and now down to 32 in after hours... am I missing something that runs deeper than beating estimates, or is Yahoo not telling me something I should know.
