got it from a documentary about an atheist turned christian. its pretty good. basically comes down to if jesus rose from death everyone should be a christian. if not the entire religion will die.
its arguement is that if jesus' rising was a scam, then they wouldnt have had a bunch of skanks that nobody respected be the ones to find him missing. of course then he appeared in front of hundreds of witness the next day.

and i did used to wonder if religion was formed as a way of controlling the people, like the book of eli. that documentary i read explains how these peoples reputation depended on them presenting the truth. the writers in the new testament getting their findings wrong are about as likely as someone writing about pistol pete now and screwing up the facts. just couldnt have happened. there were 1000s of people still alive that knew jesus. the old testament described the messiah exactly. a perfect description of jesus. miracles he would perform, how he would die, and how he would rise... which brings me to what i need to know now..... how in the hell are person still person?

okay theres actual history geeks that went to crazy lengths to find out the rules of the area... the reputations of those envolved. the amount of respect certain occupatations had to carry. the lifestyles and corruption of times... you know, had to make sure this wasnt the david keresh of the bible days. and basically found that who checked out. according to them mathew mark luke and john, had awesome reputations and were very attentive to the details of their work. it was kinda their masterpiece, and they had to be very careful recording what they found, and testing it with 100s of witnesses. that answer your question
The fact that the Bible is the most popular and read book in the world, that was written thousands of years ago is a clear indication of GOD's will to send the message.....
That is a miracle in itself.....

Just the very nature of the bible and the world rules and the implications involved are amazing.....
Eg, one of the ten commandments is not to steal.......in Society today, if u steal, u most likely eventually get caught and there are negative implications for the individual that steals.......
Thy shall not kill.......is another example.....if u are involved in drug dealing, not only is it frowned upon by GOD, but generally people who are involved in this business more than likely end up living a life of blood on there hands...........
So, what i am basically saying is that, the moral law which is VISIBLE in human society echoes the very underlying nature of christianity.......
Some people KNOW, it is WRONG to murder, take drugs, steal etc, yet they stil ignore it and stilll do it.......they know it is wrong, yet still do it....
God IMO has come to every one on this earth in one way or another, but people (free will) choose to ignore him........
If man is thristy, only water can satisfy that thirst.......Nothing else is possible to satisfy......
However, there is nothing on this earth that can give man the ultimate joy apart from heavan...........Man has a need for Joy, and nothing on this earth can satisfy that........
SO where are u gonna get that joy from?
Alot of people imo chose to ignore GOD cause of the life they live, they know that chosen life is wrong and fear for judgement , hence by fearing judgement , they chose to ignore his existence.......
Just another example of people not wanting to take resposnibility for there own actions.......

I get joy from living my life, my friends and family, and contributing to society. Not from make believe.
