Anyone who is interested or even if you arent interested should go to youtube and check out Albert Pujols' testimony. Thats what its all about. That guy is on fire for God. Listen to his unwavering confidence in what he is talking about. All true Christians have that confidence and speak the same language.

The Bible says that Satan is ruler of earth at this time, but not forever. We are of this earth and are drawn to its pleasures. Sin happens because of the absence of God.

Dsn150 you are absolutley right in your statement and I am glad you said that. This is where the whole comprehension thing comes in. A TRUE Christian has experiences from God that allows him to know and comprehend things that others can not. Obviously you would just have to take my word for it if you chose to believe me. But you would agree that a jr high football player has no comprehension of what Brett Farve thinks or goes through as an NFL veteran. That may be a weak analogy, but it gets the point across. Now, if a TRUE Christian becomes complacent and doesnt seek answers and doesnt continue to grow his faith through the relationship with Jesus then his wisdom and comprehension will stop growing and often times will be sucked back into his old worldly ways. I say this from personal experience.

Dude... I think I'm on your path of point here but not grasping the theory that I'm sure your probably right about.Care to expound a bit,PLEASE.
IF God gave us the gift of Free Will, then that implies that humans are free to make whatever choices they want. These could be 'good' choices or 'bad' choices. But even that doesn't make sense if we have complete free will. A choice is simply that. God doesn't have anything to say in the matter whether a choice is inherently good or bad.
If Moses gave us a group of Commandments to live by, then who is doing the commanding? There cannot be any caveats and restrictions on what should be done in God's eyes if he has given us free will. God may well be an impassioned observer, but if we have the freedom to do our own thing, then God can't really contradict himself and say 'do this' or 'don't do that'. He just sits back and looks at what a cock up humans have made with the planet

One might argue imagine is a better word-
Unfortunately, I do not share the gift that allows me to have these visions and sensations that many seem to cherish-
I don't doubt that you believe they are real - How could you not?
I cannot suspend logic in one aspect of my life , but rely on it for all others- but that's just me-

God gives humans free will to make choices that genuinly affect their destiny. The worlds sinful state is a result of choices made by Adam and Eve. God created man in His own image which includes the ability to choose. Free will is limited, however, by our nature. Example: We can choose to walk across the street, but we cant choose to fly across it because our nature prevents us from that ability. In the New Testament over and over sinners are commanded to repent and believe. Every call to repent is a call to choose. I can go on with other examples and include verses if necessary.

Dsn150 its not a gift and it is certainly something that you can have. Everyone can have it. It really is a comprehension thing and it is VERY real. Now I know I cant make you believe that and thats ok too because that is not my job as a Christian.

I think for ALL it's just a matter of whether you believe in the Bible, word for word. This is still just a BOOK that WAS written by humans and handed down thru time going thru some editing, via translation. I'm done for tonight.

Oh, by the way, Ive never had any visions. Just sayin.lol
Dsn150 have you honestly ever really read the Bible or done a Bible study? Just curious.
BSforSale I could easily say the same for you as a non-believer. I could say that you are blinded from the reality of things by the world. You havent put out any talking points that favor your beliefs.

If you are looking for that exact quote it doesnt exist. There are several places in the Bible where it indicates free will like Romans 1 Verse 20 and 21 which in summary says those who are outside of salvation are "without excuse" or Galatians 6 Verse 7 which says "a man reaps what he sows" or John 5 Verse 40 where Jesus says to some unbelievers "you refuse to come to me to have eternal life". These all indicate free will choices. There are other examples also.
