Okay...here's my take on Jesus. A brilliant man, completely plugged into the Universe. Spiritual beyond all measure. But, and here is a rather big but: Let's just say he was the son of God. Okay, no worries.

Let's just say that 3 Wise Men followed a star that proclaimed Jesus was the Son of God. Don't you think someone would have been writing down his every move from birth? When did he speak; when did he walk; when did he utter something brillliant? The whole Virgin Birth was completely fabricated. Nobody ever heard of the kid until about age 12 when he was preaching in the Temple....

religion is for dumb people who have no direction in life. they need somebody to tell them how to think what to think and when to think. and oh by the way do not do what i do. just do as i say.  haha biggest joke.. back in the day about 2000 years ago people were not educated and needed direction and basically we have what we have now.  tax free businesses for these pastors.  u gotta love america.

It's 2010 and people still think Satan rules over Earth. This is truly shocking and abusrd. The Universe is vast, we are beings on a rock, enjoy and stop with the fear mongering with the fairy tales

This is a hell of a thread, isn't it.

Started with a preacher getting run over - now we're at the Truth, basically Catholics are Christian-lite, person edited the Bible, and evolution is complete bunk that people are forced to take at University....

All you do is talk about rape and balame it on God,  God doesn't rape people, people rape people.  Now go back and finish high school.

Wanted to reply to Dude_Abides and pressed a wrong button.

Just to touch on why all of that info was not recorded is first of all it was unimportant for the overall purpose of His life. Also people have a hard enough time with what was recorded.                      And if Jesus is not the Son of God that makes Him the biggest liar that ever walked, and not only that but totally nuts. And if thats the case He sure pulled the biggest con job of the ages.

Just can't help but think that if Jesus is not who He said He was that he has caused disruption in human history for nearly 2 thousand years. And the kicker is it affecting over half of the world population today. ( this number would include all sects and denominations claiming to be His followers plus all the people they hurt or help.) What a man. He took 12 men and duped them into His fantasy, then after His death they cast the same spell on the rest of the world.
