Good Luck with everything. My father is the head of the cancer center in Connecticut. I have seen many cases that were labeled as "terminal cancer" which were beaten through determination and treatment.
I go to cancer survivors day every year to listen to some of the people who have been cancer free for a year, 10 years, 20 years, even 30 years. It is amazing to hear each individuals story as well as inspiring. Either way, helping him to stay positive and helping him through the treatment is key. My prayers are with you...

The best of everything to you and your family. I lost my Dad to it when he was just 49. Cherish your time together. Now they have a cure that mostly works for what he had, keep the faith.

My uncle was diagnosed with terminal bowel/liver cancer in the spring and they basically wrote him off. He's made consideral progress since using combo of chemo and some experimental drug and the outlook isn't so bleak anymore.
I know its tough but find a good Dr and don't give up hope.
