MLK "I have a dream" vs Obama winning

A friend of mine  is a high school teacher and told me he had the following conversation in his class on the day of the election:
 
Teacher (to class): So does anyone have plans for tonights election?
 
Black Student #1: My daddy says me and him are going to the protest!
 
Teacher:  Protest? What are you going to protest?
 
Black Student #1: Me and my daddy are going  to the Obama protest!
 
Teacher: Okay.
 
Black Student #2 (sitting in the desk next to Black student #1):
YOU DUMB NIGGA, IT AIN'T A PROTEST, IT'S THE OBAMA CELEBRATION!!!
 
I about laughed my ass off when he told me this story.

Obama is less 'black' than Derek Jeter.

He was raised by his white grandmother and his deadbeat Kenyan father was nowhere to be seen.

Before the campaign, Obama wasn't 'black' enough for African-American voters, according to polls.

Yes, he sold his heritage to get votes, but that's what politicians do.  And Obama is a politician.
