Yes I'm serious dutch boy! Just recently I was watching a program on either the Discovery Channel or the Weather Channel, can't remember exactly which it was but it was about lightning. I clearly heard them say that scientists still don't fully understand the causes of lightning. These guys had all these high speed cameras aimed at the sky hoping for lightning strikes so they could evaluate what they see.
So dutch boy you better start watching some discovery channel or weather channel more often to learn something....stupid!...lol
i agree. perhaps nothing encapsulates the rostos/drake position better than the statement, scientists don't know how lightning works. let's end this thread on that one.
however, i remain unconvinced by KK's position and have been persuaded, at least partially, by the rostos/drake side. for that reason, i am already working on the next religion thread tentatively entitled: rainbows are the pathway to heaven and the infidels KK and system can't prove us wrong because they've never climbed one.
i expect KK to join that thread and try to disprove me with all that logic and science mumbo jumbo they apparently teach in schools outside of the bible belt.

i'm not exactly sure what you mean. i can only go by my own experience but there weren't any gods in my schools which were mostly public, some private (except for the time we watched clash of the titans for a project we did). thankfully, in my schools, we wore the school philosophy as part of our uniforms.
if one god or another is in certain schools, i would guess those are mostly in the bible belt states where graduation rates seem to be generally problematic as compared to other regions of the country.

Club no one can prove God. Science is not 100% sure about how things became, but this doesn't make it unuseful, i love science (science degree), science is nothing less than Vital. I feel Religon(cathloics) has done a lot to oppress science, very sad. Jesus told a man to put mud on his eyes and he would see, why do this? he could have just made the blind man see, a snap of the finger.people often read these stories and only see a "what" but never ask why,how. I feel Jesus adores science and medican. Einstein wrote about science and religion being branches of the same tree. some of us worship the creator, some of us worship the creation.

Hey there Johhny Drake!! So you should have no problem whatsoever finding several dozen websites that expalin scientist not knowing how lightning works..I look forward to your links!!
