When you die and you see there is a God then because you have been rejecting him all your life what do you suppose will happen to you? I can tell you this it won't be paradise!
The most important reasons why we Christians believe in God is because we love our Creator Almighty God for the life he has given us and the eternal life he has promised us believers after we cross over. I appreciate and love the life he has given me and I want to spend eternity with Him in the Kingdom of Heaven worshipping Him for LIFE FOR EVER!
So in essence we believers are better off in believing than not believing like heathens as yourself. If there is a God we believers go to paradise in the Kingdom of Heaven whereas you heathens go to you know where for all eternity.

BTW Rostos.....in the OT, where was an afterlife mentioned? The torah doesn't mention it at all. God was still there wasn't it? Seems like an afterlife was added on later, maybe in an attempt to scare more people in obeying authority without question? Looks like it worked pretty well I'd say.

Yes it is obviously possible. However, God uses various means so you can find him and have a relationship with him.
“I gave you empty stomachs in every city and lack of bread in every town, yet you have not returned to me,” declares the LORD. “I also withheld rain from you when the harvest was still three months away. I sent rain on one town, but withheld it from another. One field had rain; another had none and dried up. Ok, it is evident by this, that God uses various tools (starvation, unemployment, sickness, death close to us) so we turn to him...
That is obviously the primary reason why we are on this earth, so we search, find him and have a relationship with him........
EVERY person on this earth goes through problems...Everyone from the starving kid on the street to Steve Jobs......I have no doubt God uses these tools so we find him..
You find him through prayer....But first to do so, you have to humble yourself then forgive every one and anyone that you may hold grudges with. This is damn harder than how it sounds....You really have to take every ounce of anger out of your heart. Once you have done so, you have to genuinely ask for forgiveness from God for your sins.......
God cannot forgive you if you havent forgiven others that tresspassed against you.......
Once you have done that, then ultimately what you are asking for would have to be of benefit to you. Sometimes you may think it is of benefit to you but ultimately God will see passed that.
The rest is up to you, but the first part is the most important....

Again, why is she sooooooo concerned about people worshiping her? Why is that the most important thing? Sounds more like something man would deem important, not some all powerful being that created everything

Isaiah 26:19 says:
But your dead will live;
their bodies will rise.
You who dwell in the dust,
wake up and shout for joy.
Your dew is like the dew of the morning;
the earth will give birth to her dead.
Also there is mention of the afterlife in psalms...

You judging again?
Worshiping and believing in God is:
1. Praising him for giving life
2. Honouring and following the laws he has set out
3. Asking for forgiveness for deviating from this law.
4. Thanking him for sending his only begotten son to save man from eternal damnation.
Because WE ARE ALL EVENTUALLY going to die and be judged.
If you dont believe, pray and ask for forgiveness (cause we are ALL sinners), then you will be judged accordingly.
Dont let pride get in the way.
Furthermore, you have all been informed, God judges right based on what they have learnt and come accross. You have all been informed.
The decisions is yours.
Think about it from this perspective. I am not sure your of any of your upbringings, but is it just a "co-incidence" that you have been drawn on this site and come accross me? Or was it planned?

Essentially all religions believe and worship the same God. The differences arise from there, ie, Muslims believe in Muhamaed, person waiting for there messiah etc etc etc....
It is upto each man to decide what is true......Furthermore, as i have stated, God judges righteously.

Sorry, I can't answer your question, because you are basing it on a book I don't believe in... I know a lot of people that are good without god... are they perfect? no, but good people...none deserve to burn in hell because they don't have a "relationship" with god.
