If it never happened, why didnt the majority of people "shut it down" or why isnt there any documentation of a "counter claim"

There are all kinds of counter claims today

The reason why there wasnt a great deal written about it OUTSIDE the bible were for those reasons above.....Threat of death and the person at the time didnt believe he was the messiah cause they claim the messiah wont come to earth to serve (Jesus), but rather a very wealthy messiah to be served.....

EVen Thomas the disciple even after seeing Jesus didnt believe until Jesus told him to put his hand through his side.....

So you see, there was no sun on day one, or when the plants were growing. You can't have days with the sun, period!!!  There is no other way to measure days/nights. And plants grow by photosynthesis, which can't happen without a sun either!!

The events described in genesis are simply impossible.

5. God, according to the story was not completely done with earth until the third day. On the fourth day he created the sun, moon and stars. It makes no sense that it should take God longer to make this tiny planet vs the rest of the universe. But it did, because the writers of the bible didn't know how big the universe was. Stars were small to them, the earth was huge. So obviously earth longer!! Duh!
