Great band yes, but as for greatest of the last 20 years you need more than 2 albums to qualify.
I kinda agree but most of the other picks have only one good album, shit some only even have one good song!!!
The bands I think were good bands but nowhere near the "best band of the last 20 years" that I think are getting WAYYYYYYY too much hype are :
Rage against the machine (ya good band but every song sound the same, if not very similar and ok youve got a pocket full of shells we get it wow)
Korn (please dude just please, just cuz u got all into it doesnt mean that anyone outside of the heshen world liked it)
TOOL - once again same as corn, why cant u not be sober??? noone sober could like the music thats why

Nine Inch Nails - NIN = these guys had quite a following and could make a descent claim but these guys were kinda you either were completely a NIN freak or not at all so no go

Agree completely, their lyrics are laughable... they have a very good 'groove' to their music, but if you ever try to break down the lyrics and see what they are talking about it's not going to mean anything unless you're on a combination of psychadelics.

Agreed... and isn't that what makes music "listenable ?"
I, for one, don't want to listen to some 22 year old's drug induced diatribe on how to solve the world's problems.
Just make it sound good. Pleasing to the ears. That's ultimately what good music is all about.
If you want political, psychological, and social commentary... read a book, watch the news, or go experience life yourself.
