    Netherlands vs Australia:

Australia will be eliminated unless they can pull off a minimum of 4 points, which even then is likely not enough.  Therefore, they will play to win (no draw).  The Netherlands are brimming with confidence and against an agressvie attacking side like Australia, they will have their opportunities.  When you give Robben and Van Persie half chances, they score world class goals and in this match they will receive more than a couple of those chances.  Expecting a demolition to the tune of 4-0 Netherlands.  Not confident enough on the over as I see it pushing a lot and much rather stick with one play.

    Spain vs Chile:

Pretty excited for this one, but a feeling we may be disappointed by nervous play.  Spain will dominate possession and be patient knowing the 3 points is critical, a draw and it is most likely curtains.  Chile know a draw is enough, so I expect the Spanish to take the imitative as they would regardless of the circumstances.  Chile are a counter-attacking side and although I think they score, I would be shocked if they did so before Spain.  I wanted to play Spain to score 1st half at -170, but like I said they will be patient and look for quality chances oppose to many of them.

    Cameroon vs Croatia:

Strange one.  Croatia have a huge advantage in the midfield as well as up top (Manduzkic IN / Eto OUT).  Both teams will need the win here so I really expect the Africans to press and use their physicality to their advantage.  Though I think Croatia are the superior team, I have to say I think that Cameroon will win this match...  Without the dramatic Eto in the mix I think they will rally together whereas Croatia may overlook a side without their best player when they themselves get back one of their best.  Great value on Cameroon, but afraid of the draw so I will get a reduced price here without much fuss.

Korea are a weak side and I will be surprised if they win, but Russia are nothing special themselves.  The loss of their captain is critical and they lack the typical class in midfield that Russian teams have.  Defensively they are pretty good, but I think they will struggle mightily in this tournament to score goals.  Personally I feel strongly that Korea can score on the counter and Russia may score on a set piece.  Confident this ends in a draw and as I see it being low-scoring, but not scoreless, I will play a longshot on the exact score and patiently await Thursday's matches.

I couldn't bet on Spain first goal on Bookmaker, but I bet Spain no clean sheet bc you thought Chile would score... So thanks for that! I know nothing about soccer, but I'm enjoying the action. Please continue posting your plays

    Columbia vs Ivory Coast:

The Ivorians beat the Japanese because of their physical advantage and conditions suitable for said bruising style.  Against a savvy, quick and quality Columbian side who are themselves brimming with confidence upon thrashing the stout Greeks, I simply do not see the Ivorians doing well here.

    England vs Uruguay:

Though neither side will play for it, I do predict a draw.  Also, a prop I love because of the Suarez hype (deserved but not for this match).

    Draw (+266)
    *Cavani (Goal) +259

    Greece vs Japan:

As much as I like Japan, I have changed my mind strongly as I see their physical weakness was easily exploited by the Ivorians.  Both teams will go for the win and though a draw is even then possible, I doubt it.  Greece will play more attacking, something that I think will liberate the players and raise performance as they pull one out against the technical but physically weak Japanese.
