    Spain vs Australia:

    Spain will throw in some subs, but world class subs at that.  Australia will likely do something similar but less so.  Both sides are out and while that may lead some to perceive an open and high-scoring game, I am not so sure and therefore will not play the over as tempting as it is.  I think Spain play a great game in order to redeem themselves and against an open team like Australia I think they may win 3-0.

    Chile vs Netherlands:

    Both sides have advanced, but first place is still up for grabs with Chile needing a win to earn it.  A draw or a Dutch win results in them maintaining first.  Both sides are quality and can do some damage later on.  At this point I think Chile may very well win the world cup...  This team continues to impress me game after game.  Expect the Netherlands to play a tight match without RVP, seeking to control possession and get quality chances.  Chile will play the same no matter who they play and I expect them to counter rapidly.  Should be a close match but I like Chile to steal it.  Potential for a draw and therefore it is a DNB.

    Brazil vs Cameroon:

    After this match, Brazil will be again the most fancied to hoist the trophy.  Expecting a bloody massacre as Cameroon will not be able to pierce a stout defense and conversely Brazil are way to talented not to score a few against a disorganized Cameroon side.  Somehow I see value in the ML...  Scary juice though and I will lay a goal and a half.  Expecting Cameroon's players to turn against each other in the 2nd half.  Could be 1-0 HT and 4/5-0 FT.  Cameroon will throw it all at Brazil so they could score.

    Brazil (-1.5) -223

    Croatia vs Mexico:

    Draw/Mexico = Mexico advance
    Croatia = Croatia advance

    I think Mexico win this one outright...  Expect them to come out flying and go for the 3 as it is more to their style and gusto than playing for a draw.  Draw is very possible, but I will play it DNB.  Slight edge in the midfield to Croatia, strikers are even in my opinion and defensively even as well.  Mexico are better suited for the conditions and with the form Ochoa is in and the confidence around the team I will back the Mexicans.

    *Mexico (DNB) +100

    DNB, draw no bet, if there is a draw you get your money back.  PK is pick, if there is a draw, you lose your money.

    Bookmaker has Chile PK at EV...and the ML at +170...
    Since Nesci bet Chile DNB -103, I think DNB is the same bet as PK. And you are thinking of a money line. I'm thoroughly confused, but I like it!  Sorry to clutter the thread Nesci.

    Italy vs Uruguay:

    A great result for Uruguay last time out, but I am not impressed.  Suarez was the difference, but defensively this side is average at best.  They have a horrible midfield as well.  Italy are class in every position and coming off a real shocker.  I think Italy are much better than Uruguay, but because a draw is good I will bet accordingly.
