Its James Jones and he has looked real good. I know its just preseason but he has a knack to get open and seems to catch everything thrown his way. Favre's been hitting him so far. In a deep league he may be worth a chance.
Yes, my bad. I was drunk and high when I typed that. I continue to hear good things as well.

Not endorsing Mike Williams by any means. I was simply saying that I think he's a guy to keep an eye on and someone that can probably be acquired through the waiver wire. Appreciate the insight
After watching Williams this weekend I would steer clear of him all togehter. He just doesn't seem to care or concentrate or both. A shame too, cause at USC he was a man child. Let someone else in your league make this mistake, or if you see him put together more than one good game, then maybe grab him.

In the last two rounds of my draft I picked up Dwayne Bowe and James Jones in the hopes that one pans out wel this year. My real sleeper pick is Eric Johnson TE.

craig davis, roydell williams, and jabar gaffney, all very deep sleepers, im talking 16 team leagues w/ 3 starting wr.. roydell williams taking b. jones spot. craig davis will start while eric parkers out, and i dont know about gaffney now, but he was fighting stallworth for that #2 spot in NE.
i love eric johnson as a sleeper too. i think hes not up there w/ the bigger names though because brees checks down to his backs, not so much the TE.

It appears that Ernest Wilford and Dennis Norrthcutt will be the starters in Jacksonville. I think Jones will be 3 and Reggie Williams might be as low as 5. WIlford and Northcutt should be guys you can get in the later rounds in deeper drafts

Braylon Edwards...besides kellen who are they gonna throw to..plus has the size and speed to make he big play LEE EVANS- may be the most underrated player not even reciever in the NFL watch out for the bills this year they will post some astounding offensive numbers Kevin Curtis- look for 70-80 catches out of curtis including 6-9 tds he can be a very good steal in the latter rounds of the draft

I've also heard good things about rookie Sidney Rice in Minnesota. He won't start but is a guy to keep an eye on over the season. Could wind up with some value in deep leagues

Could be reinstated by week three. # 1 wr Driver has been playing thru nagging inj. # 2wr Jennings missed latter part of ' 06 and was inactive for first game ( hamstring ). # 3 wr is a rookie with promise but still a rookie. Farve and Robinson had a good rapport prior to Robinson being susp. last year. Favre made no secret that he wanted the Pack to aquire Moss in the off-season and has indicated in so many words that he needs help in the passing game

Potential sleeper alert ....Koren Robinson

I saw that TB cut David Boston yesterday, so no chance he's doing anything this year. That leaves some pitiful combo of Ike Hilliard, Maurice Stovall (didn't catch a pass last week), and Michael Clayton as the number 2 WR.
DJ Hackett is another sleeper that it may not pan out. He caught 1 short pass week 1 (better then Branch who caught 0). I've heard it's likely that Burleson will alternate starting weeks with him. In addition Burleson is the taller WR and likely to be used more near the goaline.
Still waiting to see what we get from the SD WR's. I won't judge them from their week1 performance since it was the Bears they were playing.
I will continue to update this thread throughout the season as WR's who may be available on waivers have big games or starters get hurt.
