Both teams win this week and one knocks off the previously undefeated team in my league of 6-0.
 
The team I ask for help on is now 4-3 after 3 consecutive wins.
 
Team 2 gets back on track and is 5-2.
 
At QB seriously thinking of giving Warner the nod over Brees.
 
This is based on the fact of last year's England game that was a windy rainy under fest with the Giants/Dolphins...Couldn't we expect similar crappy weather. I know Arizona has to travel east to play Carolina and don't believe the west coast teams have faired to well... but Warner did put up huge garbage numbers in that loss to the Jets and Boldin should be back.
 
RB's have gotten to be easy
 
Barber and Chris Johnson.... Despite L. White's 3 TD performance and 80 yard scamper he is clearly second fiddle to the rookie. Got Deuce McAllister too whose value should increase with Bush being shelfed but I really think Stecker is going to be the guy catching those Bush screen passes.
 
At WR we go again with Calvin Johnson and the putrid Detroit O and this week he will be paired with D Mason
 
Driver is on bye
Roy Williams saw no point production in game one with Cowboys...not sure he was even active.
D. Henderson... To much of a feast or famine choice IMO
 
Liking Bo Scafie over LJ Smith at this point. As LJ has not been involved as much in the Eagles offense as I expected in the preseason.

not sure you lose much with going to Warner over Brees this week as aforementioned will affect his stats Weather, Bush and Colston not being 100%
I agree with Stecker being the forgotten man and coming up with the stats as he did last year when Bush went out but then again Deuce was out as well.

I believe Williams was active but only saw a handful of plays as my Cowboys are in a major funk

I like all the rest of your plays
checkout my post about waivers I could use your insight, hopefully you have a crystal ball

S, Smith of Carolina I presume #1
Boldin #2 ... Returns to the lineup after mssing a few weeks.
 
Not so sure Colston is the best play at #3 ...He dropped a few undefended short passes for 1st downs. clearly the hand is still a problem in my mind.. but if he blows up the way we have seen in his first two seasons you will be pissed.
 
Alternate play would be Walter for me against Cincy D.
 
 
1st 3 pretty easy MJD, TO (even with Brad Johnson at QB ), Plax
 
Definetely no Curtis...
 
Is K Smith... Kevin Smith of Detroit ?  No way
 
I think I might take a flyer on Deuce... with Bush out maybe he will see more touches and if the weather is crap the Saints are going to really need to put forth the effort to run the ball IMO
Walter is a viable play also

Hows it going Piles...My team is finally starting to come together after an 0-5 start...yes 0-5.......now im 2-5.....putting up big points....here's a look at my standings...2 divisions but top 4 teams make it.

I also have Bo Scaife, I like him among the second tier tight ends....seems like 3 years ago 7/10 teams have a good tight end. Now it's like

sam-   I would say based on the fact that 2 teams go from each division you absolutely have a chance since you are only one game out and I would suspect your regular season ends in 6 weeks. You obviously need to keep putting up the W's and the rest will take care of itself.
 
I'm glad someone else has caught on that most of the TE production has been pure crap.... Obviously after Witten there is a huge drop off.... I'm kicking myself over not drafting Owen Daniels ( I really liked him too) over LJ Smith.

Gennaro- Hard to bench T Jones he had over 150 yards last week. L White primarily sees his carries only in the red zone...which was amazingly good for 2 TD last week.  And he had an 80 yard TD run .
 
I think Jones is the safer option...

QB: JTO vs. seattle (29th against the pass) or Anderson vs. Jax (22nd against the pass).  orton on bye
 
RB: westbrook vs. atl (should be good to go if not got buckhalter so start one of them) and either mcgahee vs. oak (24th against the run) or julius jones vs. SF (23rd against the run).  bush hurt sucks
 
WR: fitzgerald vs. car (start) and braylan vs. jax or breaston vs. car (if boldin is out his stock will rise but caronina actually ranked 1st against the pass)

something to consider is that carolina defense (playing warner is ranked #1 against the pass and 3rd in pag) and SD defense (playing brees is ranked last against the pass).  we all know AZ likes to air it out and i myself will probably be starting warner once again in my other league (over farve) but something to think about for you

              Westbrook and McGahee RB
 
               Fitz and Edwards at WR

I also have Lance Moore and Desean Jackson.
 
Thinking of dropping Moore and making a pickup of either Avery or Bryant ..

Piles...I play on ESPN and Im not exactly sure it's 2 from each division....obviously that would help but what if it's TOP 4 TEAMS divisions dont matter? You think I GOTTA CHANCE? My team looks great on paper but my first 3 picks were LT[#1,fuck] ,Braylon Edwards and Andre Johnson...so im sure you know how that went the first 5 weeks.....anyway here goes
 
QB - start 1...RIVERS AND ELI MANNING...usually i pick RIVERS.
 
RB - start 2...LT, SAMMY MORRIS, DOMINIC RHODES, MEWELDE MOORE, DARREN SPROLES and EARNEST GRAHAM.....at the beginning of the year I was going with LT and EARNEST GRAHAM which got me in the hole....WAIVERS allowed me to get MOORE, RHODES,seemed like noone wanted MORRIS so I picked him up 2 wks back.
 
WR - start 2.....Andre Johnson, STEVE SMITH [Trade FELIX JONES and EDDIE ROYAL for him about 3wks ago] Braylon Edwards, Lance Moore, Chris Chambers...STARTING BRAYLON AND ANDRE put me in the hole also. Last week and week before I went with STEVE SMITH and ANDRE.
 
FLEX POSITION ......pick one of the guys that were left off.
 
Last week my lineup went like this....PHILIP RIVERS, LT, MEWELDE MOORE,  DOMINIC RHODES [FLEX], ANDRE AND STEVE SMITH.....

Also I see Derrick Mason getting SHUT DOWN this week by NMAMDI ASOMOGUH [sp?].....I might go with ROY WILLIAMS If i were you...do you see him getting left out of the offense for 2wks straight? Possibly...but I doubt it.

umgmu- I think that might be a good move to drop Moore ... His production has slowed two of the last three weeks. The difficult problem with receivers in the New Orleans offense is that Brees will distribute the ball to all of them... and every week it is a feast or famine situation with production.
 
I like the Rams Avery WR better solid numbers out the Rams last 3 games ... Bryant is also a viable option
 
sammy- I'm a little concerned about the potential for bad weather in England and would prefer Eli at Piitsburgh at this point.
 
At RB I think you obviusly stick with LT.... Tough matchups for M Moore against the NY Giants and D. Rhodes against Tennessee... I think I rather Graham against Dallas as they should try establishing the run to keep Dallas offense off the field.
 
I go Andre and Steve Smith at WR
 
Flip a coin and pick either M Moore or Rhodes for Flex
 
Thanks for the heads up on Mason but I am playing him as it is a ppr league and Mason is pretty consistent with 6 catches and about 80 yards per game.

Im gonna have to look at that RIVERS VS. MANNING matchup.....i agree with everything you said except the flex play....you dont like sammy morris? big week last week...faces the rams this week and it looks like kevin faulk will remain the 3rd down back.Maroney IR ...right now I have him as my flex over moore and rhodes.
 
Normally I would agree with those numbers for Mason but Asomoguh is arguably the best corner in football.......i dont think they throw it to his side enough for 6catches and 80yds but definetly good luck.

FUCK i heard Morris' injury wasn't serious now I see he hasnt practice today or yesterday.

sam- Yeah I saw morris didn't practice, but NE tends to use a few guys even without Maroney...Green-Ellis and Faulk.
 
I say you have a chance last season I think I started 1-5 and won all but one of my regular season games from that point and steamrolled through the championship.
 
JW1LS- I'm not to high on this San Francisco team being retooled with Singletary as HC.... Garcia played well can't believe he is a FA... I say go for it
