I don't think you've had the same core players on your team for more than 2-3 weeks at a time....how do you know it would or wouldn't work lol
Your strategy has been going on all season and obviously it does not work. Whats the difference if you are you and let it blow up all year or try something out for 3 weeks?

Thats not the point in my eyes... For example I wouldn't make that trade with you cause I have a shot... I would realize that you still have Hamels, Verlander, Gallardo, Gio...3 or 4 closers and now Morneau... You know what your doing and so do I... The whole point is when a team is in last place they DONT care... Its kinda like the Pittsburgh Pirates, they trade their studs at the break, one team gets better and the Pirates get worse... Its like Spraky is making a salary dump

Anything can happen. My pitching just got much better. Plain and simple. Whose going to beat me in stolen bases? My players have over 10 total stolen bases this week I believe (for those who I've played and sat). That helps leading to runs. It's just a new game plan because my old one didn't work.

Not only that there is a reason why i come in here when someone has a player up for trade i say i promise i will have your player by the end of the night if i want them. I asked you for Longoria but you said you dont want anything to do with trading him. If you did i promise you he would be on my team. I was ready to give Gonzalez, Garcia and Wilson to you for him but you said no chance of trading him. I just dont think of the trade im doing but i make sure i have at least one more trade after it. What can i say im good at trading.

THATS MY POINT. You could of had him for Liriano and say Oswalt who are both doing worse than Garcia and Vargas. So how can you rip me or sparky for the deal when it was available to you for the same price?

Sparky its a 5 X 5 Fantasy league... You cannot give up 2 Categories SAVES and HR's and expect to have a chance ... you need balance.... One week you give up on a category and try and stack another, and than the next week you realize your stacked at that category and dump it and stack another... Its a see saw

I don't only follow my players. I follow players I've given up. Utley has JUST recently come out of his slump from when I traded him a while ago. Ethier has still not come back strong since he broke his finger. Lincecum has been up and down since I traded him. He's come around lately but it was a good to get rid of him when I did. I got Cruz and traded him. A week later...he hit the DL. He's done as much for Philly fan as Rollins has done for me. They've basically both been on the DL since the trade (Cruz for a week less).

Right why would you trade something that YOU THINK makes your team worse. So why rag on Sparky for a trade HE THINKS makes his team better. His pitching gets a HUGE BOOST and now one less bat to toss around. He had Morneau on his bench tonight

I think if he wante dto make his team better he should of went after Closers and another HR bat.... he already balanced off his team with Runs, SB', AVG.... Now he still has Morneau, add a power bat with him, and try and grab 2 closers and ... there you go you have a well balnced team... Instead he gives away his power bat and adds SP... cripiling his HR and RBI and saves category... IMO

Who knows...Pena, Boesch, Guillen, Heyward, Rollins, Cargo and Colvin can all hit a home run in the next 2 days and I can somehow win HRs without a HR coming from Morneau. I have guys who can produce RBIs and HRs. Trading 1 player away doesn't take away that. If I would have had Pena in all week instead of Morneau...I would have had more HR's/RBIs but a lesser average. It's up and down.

Yes kind of... I think Byrd has a horrible 2nd half along with Glaus... Carbrera I'd rather have then Kemp ... And Cain is identical to Oswalt... 2 pitchers with an era at 3.00 WHIP's under 1.1 but they pitch for horrible offenses

For what it's worth...I offered powerade Morneau for Glaus, Soriano and Rauch. He said he couldn't give up 2 closers. So then I said I would take Glaus, Soriano and Meek (and wait for Meek to take over the closers' role) and I never got a legit answer. I'm sure nobody else would give up their closers for Morneau. The problem is that I HATE putting up trades "blindfolded". Basically that means without getting any approval from the guys who aren't on the forums and having it sit there for over 2 days with no answer.
