i want to run a College Bowl Pick em' Pool this year if any of you guys want in.. probably do 50 a man unless people only want to do 25. let me know if u guys are interested.. ManRam always does NCAA March Madness Pool but no-one ever runs anything with College Bowls..
PM me if anyone wants in.. i'll give out the ID# and Password through PM. lookin to get minimum of $25 guys.

That's why I always though for every keeper you should lose your first X amount of rounds, not final X amount of rounds. Just my opinion and how I always thought they worked.

You do start losing first round picks once you get 10 keepers which some will be at after this draft.

ManRam: just checkin'. this is my 1st time doing a pool so i need some imput back from you guys. it gave me an option to do Straight picks which i guess are against the spread OR Confidence which means we select a Team and add Confidence Points and the person with the most points wins.. i also have to figure out if i should make a PayPal Acct so its easier for some of you. what are the Fee's on $25 ?
Psm: i sent out over 50 PM's last night and got about 10 responses back today so hopefully i get a good # of people that committ, if not we'll see how many we have and make a decision if its worth it... i cant see anything less then a 400 pot. thats only 15 guys and we'r almost at that now

yea spark, its the Bowl Pick Em'...
forgot to ask you your thoughts about the Phils signing Papelbon. i know we'r getting the experience with him and when you have a Starting Staff like this you better not overlook the closer role but then on the other hand i think Madson has better pitches, more velocity and is younger but lacks big game experience and also wanted same type of money.. i think Papelbon will fit in nice, we also signed Ty Wigginton as a BN player which is ok with me.. we might use him at 1st until Howard comes back depending on time table for that injury in last game of Post-season..
Thome back in Philly also 
i have like 3 jerseys in my closet that i wouldnt wear cause he left and im not one to sport jerseys of players that no longer are on that team, i hate that and it drives me nuts when guys wear jerseys and the player's been gone..
ahhh.... baseball couldnt get here fast enough..

after looking over and reading the rules on the College Bowl Pick Em' ive decided to do the Confidence Points Scoring instead of Straight Picks..
The object of Yahoo! Sports College Bowl Pick'em is to accumulate as many points as possible.
To score points, choose the team you think will win each of the 34 bowl games and assign a unique confidence value, from 1 to 34, for each pick. For your most certain selections, you should assign the highest confidence values. With each correct choice, you earn the confidence points you attributed to that pick.
For instance, suppose you choose Team A to beat Team B and assign a confidence value of 16 to that pick. If Team A wins, you earn 16 points. If Team A loses, you earn zero points.
The group member with the most points after all the games are played wins the group. If two teams have the same score, a tiebreaker based on the score of the BCS Championship game will determine the winner.
Please Note: It is not possible for Private Group Commissioners to enable a Point Spread
