  i think it also depends on the # of Draft picks people traded away and for what Rounds. just cause u have 5 keepers in a 24 Rd draft doesnt mean ur name is off the list after Rd 19.  

 5 spots would be taken off ur 24 man roster if a manager has 5 keepers so u would need to fill 19 more Roster Spots, but if i traded away my 1st and 2nd for a 23rd n 24th then i wouldnt be done filling my roster till Rd 24 because my 1st and 2nd picks didnt come to me..    it will all work out...  once a guys roster is filled up he cant draft anything else anyway..      here i go again getting all confused...

But the main thing that needs to be changed is the rules. Gotta make them clear with no holes. I will question the shit out of all the problems we had before the season starts this year.

Yea. 5 keepers means take off their final 5 draft picks.

 

And what are we doing about the prospect roster? Are we still doing that? Is there an option on yahoo where you can have a N/A spot like you can have a DL spot? If not do we have a side thread for our minor league guys so we can keep them there before they are called up and then, the day they're called up, we have to either drop them or drop a player on our roster to make room.

I remember that talk but are we still doing that?

Guys honestly though how did we ever let pennstate get that fucking team. We have our work cut out for us for the upcoming years. Beckett for Pedroia was a complete f'in joke. Not as bad as Hamilton for Bryce Harper though.

And I got Colby Rasmus under contract as well. So just put him under me keepers when you get a chance.

That trade did NOT hurt me. I got a good pitcher. I got a first rounder who helped me get Beltre/whoever else I got in that deal. AND I made the playoffs.

That deal helped both of us. So HA.

Now it's one of those trades where we'll see in the future who it really helped.

But we're different. I like being a part of the baseball thread during the offseason...and regular sesaon...and post season.

Plus this thread (even though it's usually dead) and the general discussions forum.
