It is even more amazing that all but one was not just a loss, but a loss ats. Why IS that? Why always the letdown in the final home game? I know they have been a weak program the past half-dozen years or so, but there's something funny there. Unless maybe they've had a lot of injuries late in the year. Maybe playing in the heat wears them down?
So we have the unwinnable force (AZ final home game) against the uncoverable object (Thursdee home dog.) Which trend will prevail?
Meanwhile I see totals on both games tonight coming down slightly since this morning. Obviously that game that was played in the MAC morgue last night had an effect. One defensive score, 5 INTs in the end zone, and one blown-off FG attempt. I'm surprised Miami made their extra point. I'm still thinking on the totals, but have a hunch they will go over.
